| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini mengkaji tindak tutur ekspresif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tipe-tipe tindak tutur ekspresif dan strategi yang digunakan ketika melakukan tindak tutur ekspresif dalam video YouTube Vogue: 73 Questions. Peneliti menerapkan teori tipe-tipe tindak tutur ekspresif oleh Searle dan Vanderveken dan teori strategi yang digunakan ketika melakukan tindak tutur ekspresif oleh Parker. Metode deskriptif kualitatif digunakan untuk menganalisis tindak tutur ekspresif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 258 ujaran tindak tutur ekspresif yang dilakukan dalam video. Selanjutnya, hanya 10 dari 12 tipe tindak tutur ekspresif yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini. Tipe-tipe tindak tutur tersebut adalah meminta maaf, berterima kasih, mengucapkan belasungkawa, mengucapkan selamat, mengeluh, memprotes, membanggakan, memuji, menyanjung, dan menyapa. Sebagai tambahan, hanya terdapat 3 dari 4 strategi yang digunakan untuk melakukan tindak tutur ekspresif dalam penelitian ini. Strategi tersebut adalah strategi langsung harfiah, strategi tidak langsung harfiah, dan strategi langsung tidak harfiah. Kesimpulannya, dari 258 data yang ditemukan, pujian muncul sebagai tipe tindak tutur ekspresif yang paling sering digunakan dalam video, dengan strategi langsung harfiah sebagai strategi yang paling sering digunakan. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This research investigates expressive speech acts. The research aims to identify types of expressive speech acts and strategies used to perform expressive speech acts in Vogue: 73 Questions YouTube videos. The researcher applies Searle and Vanderveken’s theory of types of expressive speech acts and Parker’s theory of strategies used to perform expressive speech acts. The qualitative descriptive method was used to analyze the expressive speech acts. The research results show that there are 258 expressive speech acts utterances performed in the videos. Furthermore, only 10 of 12 types of expressive speech acts are found in this research. They are apologize, thank, condole, congratulate, complain, protest, boast, compliment, praise, and greet. Additionally, only 3 of 4 strategies are used to perform expressive speech acts in this research. They are literal direct strategy, literal indirect strategy, and non-literal direct strategy. In conclusion, based on the 258 data found, compliments emerged as the most frequently used type of expressive speech acts in the videos, with the literal direct strategy being the most commonly used strategy. |
