| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | As a developing country, Indonesia has economic problems that require handling from the government. One of the economic problems is unemployment. A high level of unemployment in a country can have a negative impact on the country's economy. One of the provinces with the highest unemployment rate in Indonesia is West Java Province. In this way, the government is expected to be able to reduce the unemployment rate in order to achieve prosperity. There are several factors that need to be considered, such as economic growth, HDI, minimum wage, and population. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of economic growth, HDI, minimum wage, and population on the unemployment rate jointly and partially The objects that will be studied in this research are economic growth, HDI, minimum wage and population on the unemployment rate in West Java Province in 2012-2022 The research results show that economic growth, HDI, minimum wage, and population together influence the unemployment rate in West Java Province in 2012-2022. Then partially, the minimum wage and population have a positive and significant effect on the unemployment rate. The implication of this research is that local governments are encouraged to pay attention to economic development policies related to local economic growth, increase the HDI by increasing access and equal distribution of quality and affordable educational services for the entire community, and adjusting the increase in the number of the workforce with the availability of employment opportunities |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Sebagai Negara yang sedang berkembang Indonesia memiliki permasalahan ekonomi yang memerlukan penanganan dari pemerintah. Salah satu masalah ekonomi adalah pengangguran. Tingginya tingkat pengangguran pada suatu negara dapat mengakibatkan terjadinya dampak yang negatif terhadap perekonomian negara tersebut. Salah satu Provinsi dengan tingkat pengangguran tertinggi di Indonesia adalah Provinsi Jawa Barat. Dengan demikian pemerintah diharapkan untuk dapat menurunkan tingkat pengangguran agar dapat mencapai kesejahteraan. Ada beberapa faktor yang perlu diperhatikan seperti pertumbuhan ekonomi, IPM, upah minimum, dan jumlah penduduk. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh perrumbuhan ekonomi, IPM, upah minimum, dan jumlah penduduk terhadap Tingkat pengangguran secara Bersama-sama dan secara parsial. Objek yang akan diteliti dalam penelitian ini adalah pertumbuhan ekonomi, IPM, upah minium dan jumlah penduduk terhadap tingkat pengangguran di Provinsi Jawa Barat pada tahun 2012-2022. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan ekonomi, IPM, upah minimum, dan jumlah penduduk secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap tingkat pengangguran di Provinsi Jawa Barat pada tahun 2012-2022. Kemudian secara parsial, upah minimum dan jumlah penduduk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap tingkat pengangguran. Implikasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pemerintah setempat didorong untuk dapat memperhatikan kebijakan ekonomi pembangunan yang berkaitan dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi setempat, meningkatkan ipm dengan cara peningkatan akses dan pemerataan layanan pendidikan yang bermutu dan terjangkau bagi seluruh masyarakat, dan menyesuaikan pertambahan jumlah angkatan kerja dengan ketersediaan lapangan pekerjaan |
