| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian “Pengaruh Suplementasi Fitogenik Terhadap Jumlah Eritrosit, Kadar Hemoglobin, dan Nilai Hematokrit Ayam Niaga Petelur” telah dilaksanakan pada 10 Juli - 3 September 2023, bertempat di Eksperimental Farm, Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto dan Laboratorium Patologi Klinik, Fakultas Kedokteran Hewan, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh suplementasi fitogenik tepung bawang putih, sambiloto, jahe dan campuran ketiganya terhadap jumlah eritrosit, kadar hemoglobin, dan nilai hematokrit ayam niaga petelur. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap, terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 5 kali ulangan, sehingga terdapat 25 unit percobaan. Setiap unit percobaan terdiri atas 4 ekor ayam. Materi penelitian yang digunakan adalah ayam niaga petelur strain Hyline Brown sebanyak 100 ekor berumur 50 minggu. Perlakuan terdiri atas P0 : Pakan basal, P1 : Pakan basal + 2 % tepung bawang putih, P2 : Pakan basal + 2 % tepung sambilto, P3 : Pakan basal + 2 % tepung jahe dan P4 : Pakan basal + 2 % campuran tepung bawang putih, sambiloto dan jahe. Peubah yang diukur meliputi jumlah eritrosit, kadar hemoglobin, dan nilai hematokrit. Analisis data menggunakan analisis variansi (ANAVA). Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa fitogenik dapat mempertahankan jumlah eritrosit, kadar hemoglobin dan nilai hematokrit ayam niaga petelur pada keadaan normal. Jumlah eritrosit tertinggi diperoleh pada suplementasi tepung sambiloto. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa fitogenik tepung sambiloto paling efektif untuk meningkatkan jumlah eritrosit dalam keadaan normal, begitu juga kadar hemoglobin dan nilai hematokrit. |

Inggris) | The research "The Effect of Phytogenic Supplementation on the Number of Erythrocytes, Hemoglobin Levels and Hematocrit Values of Laying Commercial Chickens" was carried out on 10 July - 3 September 2023, at the Experimental Farm, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto and the Clinical Pathology Laboratory, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine , Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta. The research aims to determine the effect of phytogenic supplementation of garlic flour, bitter, ginger and a mixture of the three on the number of erythrocytes, hemoglobin levels and hematocrit values of laying commercial chickens. The research design used was a completely randomized design, consisting of 5 treatments and 5 replications, so there were 25 experimental units. Each experimental unit consisted of 4 chickens. The research material used was 100 Hyline Brown laying commercial chickens aged 50 weeks. Treatment consisted of P0: basal feed, P1: basal feed + 2% garlic flour, P2: basal feed + 2% bitter flour, P3: basal feed + 2% ginger flour and P4: basal feed + 2% garlic flour mixture , bitter and ginger. The variables measured include the number of erythrocytes, hemoglobin levels, and hematocrit values. Data analysis uses analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results of variance analysis show that phytogenics can maintain the number of erythrocytes, hemoglobin levels and hematocrit values of laying commercial chickens in normal conditions. The highest number of erythrocytes was obtained with bitter flour supplementation. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that phytogenic bitter flour is the most effective for increasing the number of erythrocytes under normal conditions, as well as hemoglobin levels and hematocrit values. |
