| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis permintaan yang digunakan oleh para karakter dalam film Aladdin (2019). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif-deskriptif. Semua data dalam penelitian ini diambil dari ujaran dalam dialog yang diucapkan oleh para karakter yang mengindikasikan jenis permintaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semua jenis permintaan ditemukan dalam film ini. Jenis-jenis tersebut adalah permintaan tidak langsung tidak konvensional, permintaan tidak langsung konvensional (kondisi yang berorientasi pada pendengar), permintaan tidak langsung konvensional (kondisi yang berorientasi pada pembicara), dan permintaan langsung. Jenis ungkapan permintaan yang memiliki penggunaan paling tinggi adalah jenis permintaan langsung. Tipe permintaan ini digunakan sebanyak 24 kali (100%) dari total 48 data ungkapan permintaan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa tipe ini banyak digunakan oleh para tokoh karena dipengaruhi oleh posisi pembicara yang memiliki kedudukan lebih tinggi dari pendengar dan memiliki otoritas. Selain itu, permintaan langsung lebih efektif digunakan ketika penutur mengungkapkan permintaan yang bersifat lugas dan harus dipenuhi saat itu juga oleh pendengar. d condition), dan permintaan langsung. | Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This research aims to examine the types of requests that are used by the characters in Aladdin's (2019) movie. This research applies a qualitative-descriptive method. All the data in this research is taken from the utterances in the dialogue uttered by the characters that indicate the type of request. The result shows that all types of requests are found in this movie. Those types are unconventionally indirect request, conventionally indirect request (hearer-oriented condition), conventionally indirect request (speaker-based condition), and direct request.
