Indonesia) | Pendidikan profesi dokter gigi merupakan jenis pendidikan profesi yang diarahkan pada penguasaan ilmu dan penerapan ilmu kepada masyarakat dalam bidang kedokteran gigi untuk menghasilkan dokter gigi yang berkompeten. Performa digambarkan sebagai pencapaian pelaksanaan (achievement) suatu program kegiatan perancanaan strategis dan operasional organisasi (efforts) oleh seseorang atau kelompok orang dalam suatu organisasi. Kecemasan dental merupakan suatu pemikiran bahwa sesuatu menyeramkan akan terjadi sebelum seseorang melakukan kunjungan atau perawatan gigi. Kecemasan dental tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh pengalaman traumatis, jenis kelamin, takut dengan instrumen gigi, pengetahuan, jenis perawatan gigi, dan dukungan keluarga, tetapi performa dari operator juga memegang peranan penting yang dapat menyebabkan kecemasan dental pada pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara performa mahasiswa program profesi dokter gigi dalam pelayanan kesehatan gigi dan mulut terhadap kecemasan dental pasien di klinik integrasi RSGMP UNSOED. Metode penelitian ini adalah observasional analitik. Responden penelitian berjumlah 95 orang yang merupakan pasien klinik integrasi RSGMP UNSOED pada tahun 2023 dan 2024. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara performa mahasiswa profesi dengan kecemasan dental pasien (p<0,05) dengan nilai coefficient correlation (cc) -0.811 yang menunjukkan hubungan antara variabel kuat. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan antara performa mahasiswa program profesi dokter gigi dalam melakukan pelayanan kesehatan gigi dan mulut terhadap kecemasan dental pasien. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Dental professional education is a continuation program from preclinical phase that aims to produce competent dentists. Performance is described as the achievement of a program of organizational strategic and operational planning activities (efforts) by a person or group of people in an organization. Dental anxiety is the thought that something scary will happen before someone has a dental visit or treatment. Dental anxiety is not only influenced by traumatic experiences, gender, fear of dental instruments, knowledge, type of dental treatment, and family support, but the performance of the operator also plays an important role in causing dental anxiety in patients. The aimed of this study is to determine relationship between the performance of professional dentist program students in dental and oral health services and the dental anxiety of patients at the integration clinic of Educational Oral and Dental Hospital Jenderal Soedirman University. This research was conducted by analytical observational method. The respondents in this research was 95 people who were patients at the integration clinic of Educational Oral and Dental Hospital Jenderal Soedirman University in 2023 and 2024. Data analysis was analyzed by Spearman correlation. The research results showed that there was a significant relationship between professional student performance and patient dental anxiety (p<0.05) with correlation coefficient (cc) value was -0.811, which indicates the relationship between the variables was strong. This research concludes that there is a relationship between the performance of dental professional program students in providing dental and oral health services and patients' dental anxiety. |
