Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi keragaman jamur endofit pada tanaman pisang dan potensinya sebagai antagonis Foc secara in vitro serta pemacu pertumbuhan. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama empat bulan di Laboratorium Perlindungan Tanaman dan screen house, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Penelitian dilakukan dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) terdiri dari sebelas perlakuan. Variabel yang diamati yaitu keparahan penyakit secara in vitro, karakter morfologi isolat jamur endofit, kemampuan daya hambat dan mekanisme antagonis jamur endofit, serta potensi pemacu pertumbuhan tanaman secara in vitro (produksi hormon IAA) dan in planta (tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, panjang akar, dan bobot segar tanaman). Data hasil pengujian dianalisis menggunakan sidik ragam ANOVA dan jika berpengaruh nyata maka dilanjutkan uji lanjut Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) pada taraf kesalahan 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga genus jamur endofit asal tanaman pisang (Aspergillus sp., Penicillium sp., dan Gliocladium sp.). Aspergilus sp. isolat RA1 berpotensi sebagai antagonis Foc secara in vitro dengan daya hambat 63%. Aspergillus sp. isolat KB1 mampu menghasilkan hormon IAA dan mampu memacu pertumbuhan tanaman.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)This research aims to identify the diversity of endophytic fungi on banana plants and their potential as Foc antagonists in vitro and growth promoters. The research was conducted at the Plant Protection Laboratory and screen house, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. The research was conducted in a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of eleven treatments. Variables observed were disease severity in vitro, morphological characters of endophytic fungal isolates, inhibition ability and antagonistic mechanism of endophytic fungi, as well as plant growth-promoting potential in vitro (IAA hormone production) and in planta (plant height, number of leaves, root length, and plant wet weight). The test data were analyzed using ANOVA variance analysis and if the effect was significant, it was followed by Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at 5% error level. The research results showed that there were three genera of endophytic fungi in banana plants (Aspergillus sp., Penicillium sp., and Gliocladium sp.). Aspergillus sp. RA1 isolate has potential as a Foc antagonist in vitro with an inhibitory power of 63%. Aspergillus sp. KB1 isolate was able to produce the IAA hormone and was able to stimulate plant growth.
