Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh suplementasi nukleotida dan ekstrak
kunyit terhadap kadar Packed Cell Volume (PCV) dan Total Protein Plasma (TPP) darah ayam
broiler. Materi penelitian terdiri dari DOC strain CP 707 sebanyak 168 ekor, pakan basal,
nukleotida, ekstrak kunyit, zinc bacitracin, vitamin dan vaksin serta alcohol 75%. Peralatan
pengambilan sampel darah dan mengukur Packed Cell Volume (PCV) dan Total Protein Plasma
(TPP). Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 7 perlakuan sebanyak
4 ulangan setiap ulangan menggunakan 6 ekor DOC broiler. Perlakuan yang diberikan yaitu
kontrol, N0K0, N0K1, N1K0, N1K1, N2K0, N2K1. Peubah yang diamati adalah kadar Packed Cell
Volume (PCV) dan Total Protein Plasma (TPP) darah. Hasil penelitian menunjukan rata-rata
PCV 22,16% dan TPP 2,64 g/dl. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa suplementasi
nukleotida dan ekstrak kunyit terhadap kadar PCV dan TPP darah ayam broiler berpengaruh
tidak nyata (P > 0,05). Kesimpulan dari penelitian adalah suplementasi nukleotida pada taraf
sampai dengan 500 mg/kg pakan dan ekstrak kunyit (Curcuma domestica Val.) sampai dengan
600 mg/kg pakan belum dapat meningkatkan kadar Packed Cell Volume (PCV) dan Total
Protein Plasma (TPP) darah ayam broiler sampai dengan taraf normalnya.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)This study aimed to examine the effect of nucleotide supplementation and turmeric
extract on blood Packed Cell Volume (PCV) and Total Plasma Protein (TPP) levels of broiler
chickens. The research material consisted of 168 DOC strains of CP 707, basalt feed,
nucleotides, turmeric extract, zinc bacitracin, vitamins, and vaccines and 75% alcohol. The
research material consisted of 168 DOC strains of CP 707, basal feed, nucleotides, turmeric
extract, zinc bacitracin, vitamins, vaccines and 75% alcohol. Equipment for taking blood
samples and measuring Packed Cell Volume (PCV) and Total plasma protein (TPP). The study
used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 7 treatments totaling 4 replications using 6
DOC broilers. The treatment given was control, N0K0, N0K1, N1K0, N1K1, N2K0, and N2K1. The
research results showed an average PCV of 22.16% and TPP of 2.64 g/dl. ANOVA results
showed that nucleotide supplementation and turmeric extract on PCV and TPP levels of broiler
chicken blood did not have a real effect (P > 0.05). The conclusion of the research is that
nucleotide supplementation at levels of up to 500 mg/kg feed and turmeric extract up to 600
mg/kg feed has not increase yet the levels of Packed Cell Volume (PCV) and Total plasma
protein (TPP) in the blood of broilers to reach normal levels.
