| Judul Artikel | Evaluasi Penggunaan Albendazole pada Kasus Nematodiasis di Kalompok Peternakan Jati Mulyo Kecamatan Sumbang, Kabupaten Banyumas |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat prevalensi nametodiasis, mengetahui jenis cacing nematoda, menganalisis penggunaan albendazole pada kasus nematodiasis ternak sapi potong di Kelompok Ternak Jati Mulyo. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 4 Juli sampai dengan 30 November 2023 di Kelompok Peternak Jati Mulyo Kecamatan Sumbang, Kabupaten Banyumas. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Rancangan Acak Lengka (RAL) dengan pengulangan sebanyak 2 kali. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu menggunakan teknik convenience sampling dan dilanjutkan dengan uji laboratorium menggunakan pemeriksaan apung dan McMaster. Jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 23 sampel, sesuai dengan banyaknya sapi potong yang terdapat di Kelompok Peternak. Sampel feses sapi potong kemudian diperiksa di Laboratorium Kesehatan Hewan Tipe-B, Kabupaten Banyumas secara kualitatif maupun kuantitatif dengan metode apung. Variabel yang diamati pada penelitian ini adalah prevelensi nematodiasis, jenis nematoda, dan keefektivan albendazole pada sapi potong yang terinfeksi nematoda. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linier. Hasil identifikasi nematoda menunjukan bahwa terdapat 6 jenis nematoda, yaitu Ostertagia sp, Capillaria sp, Trichuris sp, Strongyle sp, Cooperia sp, dan Strongloides papillousus. Prevelensi nematodiasis pada sapi potong di Kelompok Peternak Jati Mulyo Kecamatan Sumbang sebelum perlakuan diketahui sebesar 43,47%, dan Hari ke-15 setelah perlakuan sebesar 4,35%, hari ke-30 sebesar 21,74%, dan hari ke-60 sebanyak 13,04%. Hasil uji regresi linier untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian albendazole pada kejadian nematodiasis menunjukan P<0,05 sehingga diambil kesimpulan dari penelitian ini pemberian albendazole berpengaruh terhadap kasus nematodiasis pada sapi potong di Kelompok Peternak Jati Mulyo Kecamatan Sumbang Kabupaten Banyumas |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Evaluation of the Use of Albendazole in Nematodiasis Cases in the Jati Mulyo Breeder Group, Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the prevalence rate of nametodiasis, determine the type of nematode worm, analyze the use of albendazole in cases of nematodiasis of beef cattle in the Teak Mulyo Livestock Group. This research was carried out from July 4 to November 30, 2023 at the Jati Mulyo Breeders Group, Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency. The design used in this study is the Lengka Random Design (RAL) with 2 repeats. The sampling technique used in the study was using convenience sampling techniques and continued with laboratory tests using buoyancy and McMaster examinations. The number of samples taken was 23 samples, in accordance with the number of beef cattle found in the Farmer Group. Beef cattle fecal samples were then examined at the Type-B Animal Health Laboratory, Banyumas Regency qualitatively and quantitatively using the floating method. The variables observed in this study were the prevalence of nematodiasis, the type of nematode, and the effectiveness of albendazole in beef cattle infected with nematodes. The research data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and Regresi Linier test. The results of nematode identification show that there are 6 types of nematodes, namely Ostertagia sp, Capillaria sp, Trichuris sp, Strongyle sp, Cooperia sp, dan Strongloides papillousus. The prevalence of nematodiasis in beef cattle in the Jati Mulyo Farmer Group, Sumbang District before treatment was known to be 43,47%, and Day 15 after treatment was 4,35%, day 30 was 21,74%, and day 60 was 13,04%. The results of the regresi linier test to determine the effect of albendazole administration on the incidence of nematodiasis showed P<0.05 so that it was concluded from this study that albendazole administration had effect on nematodiasis cases in beef cattle in the Jati Mulyo Breeders Group, Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency. |
