| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Maraknya buah impor memenuhi sentra pasar buah di Indonesia dikarenakan tidak terpenuhinya buah lokal dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pasar. Salah satu buah yang dicari oleh masyarakat dan banyak dijual oleh pedagang buah adalah buah apel, baik apel lokal maupun apel impor. Apel lokal dan apel impor bersaing dalam hal kuantitas, kualitas, maupun harga. Pedagang buah harus memiliki sikap dalam mengambil keputusan terhadap penjualan buah lokal dan buah impor yang kompetitif sehingga dapat bertahan di pasar. Berdasarkan latar belakang dan identifikasi masalah yang ada, maka tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu; 1) mengidentifikasi gambaran tentang perkembangan harga, jumlah pasokan dan volume penjualan apel lokal dan apel impor, 2) mengevaluasi sikap pedagang buah terhadap penjualan apel lokal dan apel impor, 3) menghitung besarnya gross profit margin yang diterima pedagang buah dari hasil penjualan apel lokal dan apel impor, dan 4) menghitung elastisitas penawaran apel lokal dan apel impor jika terjadi perubahan harga. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei yang dilakukan secara langsung. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada 12 Agustus 2023 sampai 5 September 2023. Populasi penelitian ini adalah pedagang kios buah yang menjual apel lokal dan apel impor di Kota Purwokerto. Total responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 18 responden. Rancangan pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah metode sensus. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan angket atau kuisioner yang diberikan kepada seluruh populasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif, analisis Fishbein, analisis gross profit margin, dan analisis elastisitas penawaran. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) harga, jumlah pasokan, dan volume penjualan apel impor lebih tinggi dibandingkan apel lokal. Skala jumlah pasokan dan volume penjualan apel lokal dan apel impor masing-masing pedagang buah di Purwokerto berbeda-beda dan berubah-ubah setiap bulannya. Adanya fluktuasi harga menyebabkan fluktuasi pada penjualan juga, 2) sikap pedagang buah terhadap penjualan apel lokal dan apel impor yaitu positif, dan dilihat dari nilai sikap masing-masing, apel impor lebih besar daripada apel lokal, 3) gross profit margin apel lokal terbesar yaitu 23,91 persen pada bulan Februari 2023 dan gross profit margin terkecil yaitu 20,64 persen pada bulan Desember 2022, sedangkan gross profit margin terbesar untuk apel impor terjadi pada bulan Februari 2023 sebesar 15,73 persen dan gross profit margin terkecil terjadi pada bulan November 2022 sebesar 14,02 persen, 4) elastisitas penawaran apel lokal dan apel impor sama-sama bersifat inelastis dengan nilai elastisitas harga penawaran apel lokal sebesar 0,37 dan nilai elastisitas penawaran apel impor sebesar 0,93, artinya penawaran apel lokal dan apel impor tidak cukup peka terhadap perubahan harga. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The rise of imported fruit in Indonesia's fruit market centers is due to the lack of local fruit to meet market needs. One of the fruits sought after by the public and widely sold by fruit traders is apples, both local apples and imported apples. Local and imported apples compete in terms of quantity, quality, and price. Fruit traders must have an attitude in making decisions on the sale of local fruit and competitive imported fruit so that they can survive in the market. Based on the background and identification of existing problems, the objectives of this study are; 1) to identify an overview of the development of prices, supply and sales volume of local apples and imported apples, 2) to evaluate the attitude of fruit traders towards selling local apples and imported apples, 3) to calculate the amount of gross profit margin received by fruit traders from the sale of local apples and imported apples, and 4) to calculate the elasticity of supply of local apples and imported apples in the event of price changes. The research method used is a survey method conducted directly. The research was conducted from August 12, 2023 to September 5, 2023. The population of this research is fruit traders who sell local apples and imported apples in Purwokerto City. The total respondents in this study were 18 respondents. The sampling design used is the census method. The data collection technique in this study was to use a questionnaire given to the entire population. Data analysis in this study used descriptive analysis, Fishbein analysis, gross profit margin analysis, and supply elasticity analysis. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the price, supply, and sales volume of imported apples are higher than local apples. The scale of the amount of supply and sales volume of local apples and imported apples of each fruit trader in Purwokerto is different and changes every month. The existence of price fluctuations causes fluctuations in sales as well, 2) the attitude of fruit traders towards selling local apples and imported apples is positive, and judging from the value of each attitude, imported apples are greater than local apples, 3) the largest gross profit margin for local apples is 23.91 percent in February 2023 and the smallest gross profit margin is 20.64 percent in December 2022, while the largest gross profit margin for imported apples occurred in February 2023 at 15.73 percent and the smallest gross profit margin occurred in November 2022 at 14.02 percent, 4) the supply elasticity of local apples and imported apples are both inelastic with a local apple supply price elasticity value of 0.37 and an imported apple supply elasticity value of 0.93, meaning that the supply of local apples and imported apples is not sensitive enough to price changes. |
