| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Hiperglikemia merupakan peningkatan kadar GDP ≥126 mg/dL atau GDS ≥200 mg/dL. Madu lebah klanceng (Tetragonula biroi) mengandung flavonoid yang diduga mampu menurunkan kadar glukosa darah, sehingga perlu penelitian lebih lanjut untuk mengetahui efektivitas madu klanceng sebagai pendamping pengobatan pada tikus hiperglikemia. Penelitian menggunakan Pre-Post Test Control Group Design. Tikus putih jantan 25 ekor dibagi menjadi 5 kelompok: kelompok I (kontrol normal), kelompok II (aloksan), kelompok III (aloksan + madu klanceng), kelompok IV (aloksan + glibenclamide), kelompok V (aloksan + glibenclamide + madu klanceng). Data dianalisis menggunakan Paired Sample T Test dan One Way ANOVA. Penurunan kadar glukosa kelompok I, II, III, IV dan V berturut-turut sebesar 2,8 ± 3%; 4 ± 2,6%; 21,8 ± 14,2%; 40,6 ± 26,7% dan 51,2 ± 33,8%. Penurunan berat badan kelompok II, III, IV dan V berturut-turut sebesar 30 ± 16,7%; 27,6 ± 15,9%; 25,80 ± 14,6% dan 20,60 ± 11,8%. Kelompok I mengalami peningkatan berat badan sebesar 15,6 ± 8,24%. Madu klanceng 0,4 g/200 g BB mampu menurunkan kadar glukosa darah pada tikus hiperglikemia. Kombinasi glibenclamide 0,09 mg/200 g BB dan madu klanceng 0,4 g/200 g BB memiliki aktivitas antihiperglikemia yang lebih efektif dibandingkan monoterapi glibenclamide ataupun madu klanceng. Madu klanceng 0,4 g/200 g BB mampu meningkatkan berat badan pada tikus hiperglikemia. |

Klanceng bee honey (Tetragonula biroi) contains flavonoids which are thought to be able to lower blood sugar levels, so further research needs to be carried out to determine the effectiveness of klanceng honey as a treatment companion for hyperglycemic rats. The research used Pre-Post Test Control Group Design. 25 male white rats were divided into 5 groups: group I (normal control), group II (alloxan), group III (alloxan + klanceng honey), group IV (alloxan + glibenclamide), group V (alloxan + glibenclamide + klanceng honey). Data were analyzed using Paired Sample T Test and One Way ANOVA. The decrease in glucose levels in groups I, II, III, IV and V was 2.8 ± 3% respectively; 4 ± 2.6%; 21.8 ± 14.2%; 40.6 ± 26.7% and 51.2 ± 33.8%. The weight loss in groups II, III, IV and V respectively was 30 ± 16.7%; 27.6 ± 15.9%; 25.80 ± 14.6% and 20.60 ± 11.8%. Group I experienced an increase in body weight of 15.6 ± 8.24%. Klanceng honey 0.4 g/200 g BW was able to reduce blood glucose levels in hyperglycemic rats. The combination of 0.09 mg/200 g BW glibenclamide and 0.4 g/200 g BW klanceng honey has antihyperglycemic activity that is more effective than glibenclamide monotherapy or Klanceng honey. Klanceng honey 0.4 g/200 g BW was able to increase body weight in hyperglycemic rats. |
