| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan mengkaji pengaruh self efficacy dan regulatory focus terhadap motivasi memimpin di Desa Ponggok. Desa Ponggok merupakan salah satu desa wisata terbaik Kategori Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dari Kementerian Desa. Pendapatan asli Desa Ponggok bahkan pernah mencapai satu miliar pada tahun 2019. Pencapain tersebut tidak tidak terlepas dari keterlibatan pemimpin dari berbagai lembaga dan tentunya peran masyarakat desa. Namun pasca pandemic covid-19, Desa Ponggok mengalami penurunan kondisi. Salah satu faktor penurunan ini adalah kurang efektivitas para pemimpin dalam mengelola instansi, lembaga, atau organisasi di Desa Ponggok. Kepemimpinan merupakan kemampuan seorang pemimpin untuk memberikan pengaruh kepada para pengikutnya untuk melakukan suatu perubahan dan mencapai suatu tujuan yang telah ditetapkan (Daft, 2011). Penelitian ini mengintegrasikan teori motivasi memimpin Chan & Drasgow (2001) dan teori regulatory focus (Higgins, 1997, 1998). Terdapat tiga jenis motivasi memimpin yaitu afektif, normative, dan nonkalkulatif yang dipengaruhi oleh nilai socio cultural, kepribadian, self efficacy dan pengalaman (Chan & Drasgow, 2001). Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Ponggok Klaten dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada Pimpinan, Direktur, Kepala, Ketua, Manajer pada instansi, lembaga, organisasi masyarakat, paguyuban dan pengelola wisata swasta. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 40 responden. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa self efficacy memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi memimpin afektif, normative dan nonkalkulatif. Fokus promosi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi memimpin afektif dan nonkalkulatif tetapi tidak berpengaruh terhadap motivasi memimpin normative. Fokus pencegahan tidak berpengaruh terhadap motivasi memimpin afektif, normative maupun nonkalkulatif. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This research aims to examine the influence of self-efficacy and regulatory focus on motivation to lead in Ponggok Village. Ponggok Village is one of the best tourist villages in the Community Empowerment category according to the Ministry of Village. Ponggok Village's original income even reached one billion in 2019. This achievement is inseparable from the involvement of leaders from various institutions and, of course, the role of the village community. However, after the COVID-19 pandemic, Ponggok Village experienced a decline in conditions. One of the factors contributing to this decline is the reduced effectiveness of leaders in managing institutions, agencies, or organizations in Ponggok Village. Leadership is defined as a leader's ability to influence followers to make a change and achieve predetermined goals (Daft, 2011). This study integrates Chan & Drasgow's (2001) motivation to lead theory and the regulatory focus theory (Higgins, 1997, 1998). There are three types of motivation to lead: affective, normative, and noncalculative, influenced by socio-cultural values, personality, self efficacy, and experience (Chan & Drasgow, 2001). The research was conducted in Ponggok Village, Klaten, by distributing questionnaires to leaders, directors, heads, chairs, and managers in institutions, community organizations, associations, and private tourism managers. The total number of respondents in this study was 40. The results of this research prove that self efficacy has a positive and significant influence on motivation to lead affective, normative, and noncalculative. Promotion focus has a positive and significant influence on motivation to lead affective and noncalculative, but does not affect motivation to lead normative. Prevention focus does not motivation to leaf affect affective, normative, or noncalculative. |
