Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Laporan pelatihan kerja ini diberi judul “Producing Customer Service’s English Pocket Book at Cilacap Immigration Office”. Diselenggarakan pada tanggal 17 Maret 2022 – 28 April 2022. Pelatihan kerja yang dilaksanakan oleh penulis bertujuan untuk menyediakan buku saku untuk petugas pelayanan di Kantor Imigrasi Cilacap supaya menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan bagi para petugas pelayanan dalam memberikan pelayanan dengan baik kepada pengunjung, khususnya pengunjung mancanegara agar kualitas pelayanan di Kantor Imigrasi Cilacap meningkat menjadi lebih baik lagi.
Pelatihan kerja ini menggunakan metode observasi dan wawancara, untuk menambah referensi penulis. Dalam melaksanakan pelatihan kerja, penulis menemukan komunikasi antara petugas pelayanan Kantor Imigrasi Cilacap dan pengunjung kurang aktif, dan belum adanya buku panduan untuk para petugas pelayanan. Sehingga penulis melihat peluang untuk membuat buku saku sebagai panduan bagi para petugas pelayanan Kantor Imigrasi Cilacap.
Beberapa kendala yang dihadapi dalam melaksanakan kerja praktek ini, seperti kurangnya pengetahuan penulis tentang materi kosa kata, bahasa, dan pengetahuan seputar keimigrasian seperti ketentuan dan aturan yang berkaitan dengan keimigrasian di negara Indonesia. Selain itu, penulis juga terkendala dalam membuat desain isi dan sampul buku saku karena kurang ahli dalam bidang tersebut.
Berdasarkan pembahasan, terdapat beberapa kesimpulan bahwa petugas pelayanan harus memiliki buku panduan sebagai acuan dalam memberikan pelayanan dengan baik agar kualitas pelayanan tetap terjaga dan semakin meningkat. Buku saku ini dapat menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan para petugas di Kantor Imigrasi Cilacap, agar pengunjung merasa terbantu dan puas dengan pelayanan Kantor Imigrasi Cilacap.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)This job training report is entitled "Producing Customer Service's English Pocket Book at Cilacap Immigration Office". Held on 17 March 2022 – 28 April 2022. The job training carried out by the author aims to provide a pocket book for service officers at the Cilacap Immigration Office in order to increase insight and knowledge for service officers in providing good service to visitors, especially foreign visitors so that the quality of service at the Cilacap Immigration Office has improved to become even better.
This job training uses observation and interview methods to add author references. In carrying out job training, the author found that communication between Cilacap Immigration Office service officers and visitors was less active, and there was no guidebook for service officers. So the author saw an opportunity to create a pocket book as a guide for Cilacap Immigration Office service officers.
Several obstacles were faced in carrying out this job training, such as the author's lack of knowledge about vocabulary, language, and knowledge about immigration such as provisions and regulations relating to immigration in Indonesia. Apart from that, the author is also hampered in designing the contents and cover of the pocket book because he lacks expertise in this field.
Based on the discussion, there are several conclusions that service officers must have a guidebook as a reference in providing good service so that service quality is maintained and continues to improve. This pocket book can be a solution to improve the quality of service of officers at the Cilacap Immigration Office, so that visitors feel helped and satisfied with the services of the Cilacap Immigration Office.
