Judul ArtikelPENAMBAHAN TEPUNG KUNYIT (Curcuma domestica Val) DAN SAMBILOTO (Andrographis paniculata Nees) DALAM PAKAN TERHADAP KOLESTEROL DARAH DAN KOLESTEROL DAGING BROILER
Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi penambahan tepung kunyit dan sambiloto dalam ransum pengaruhnya terhadap kadar kolesterol darah dan kadar kolesterol daging ayam broiler yang dipelihara sampai umur 35 hari. Materi yang digukanan adalah ayam broiler umur 1 hari (DOC) strain MultiBreeder 202 Platinum sebanyak 80 ekor.Percobaan dilakukan menggunakan metode eksferimental in vivo dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan terdiri dari 4 macam yaitu setiap perlakuan di ulang 5 kali dan setiap ulangan berisi 4 ekor ayam. R0 = Ransum Basal, R1= Ransum Basal + 0,5% kunyit + 0,5% sambiloto, R2= Ransum Basal + 1% kunyit + 1% sambiloto, R3= Ransum Basal +1,5% kunyit + 1,5% sambiloto. Peubah yang diamati adalah kadar kolesterol darah dan kadar kolesterol daging. Hasil analisis sidik ragam menunjukkan bahwa penambahan kunyit dan sambiloto berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap penurunan kadar kolesterol darah, dan berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap penurunan kadar kolesterol daging. Rataan kolesterol darah yaitu R0 =119,00 mg/dl +13,70, R1 =135,80 mg/dl ±26,23, R2 =125,00 mg/dl ±25,50, R3 =144,00 ±29,27. Rataan kolesterol daging yaitu R0 =257,73 mg/100gr +6,29, R1 =258,92 mg/100gr ±2,63, R2 =251,06 mg/100gr ±6,06, R3 =253,05 ±2,76. Kesimpulan bahwa pakan dengan tambahan tepung kunyit (Curcuma domestica Val) dan sambiloto (Andrographis paniculata Nees) sampai level 1,5% belum mampu menurunkan kolesterol darah dan daging ayam broiler.

Inggris)This research aims to evaluate the addition of flour turmeric and sambiloto in rations have on blood cholesterol levels and levels of meat cholesterol broiler chicken that which is preserved until age of 35 days. The used materials were 1-day-old Multi Platinum 202 strain broiler chickens (DOC) as many as 80 birds. The experiment was performed using eksferimental method by in vivo with completely randomized design (CRD). The treatments consiststed of 4 kinds of rations, each treatment was repeated 5 times and each replication contained 4 chickens. R0 = Basal feed, R1 = Basal feed + 0,5% turmeric + 0,5% Sambiloto, R2 = Basal feed + 1% turmeric + 1% sambiloto, R3 = Bsal feed + 1,5% turmeric + 1,5% sambiloto. The variables measured were the cholesterol level of blood and cholesterol level of meat. The results of analysis of variance showed that The addition of turmeric and sambiloto did not significantly (P>0.05) affected the cholesterol-lowering effect of blood and was not significantly (P>0.05) affected the cholesterol-lowering effect of meat. The mean cholesterol levels of blood were R0 = 119,00 mg/dl +13,70, R1 = 135,80 mg/dl ±26,23, R2 = 125,00 mg/dl ±25,50, R3 = 144,00 ±29,27. The mean cholesterol levels of meat R0 =257,73 mg/100gr +6,29, R1 =258,92 mg/100gr ±2,63, R2 =251,06 mg/100gr ±6,06, R3 =253,05 ±2,76. The conclusion that the feed with additional of turmeric (Curcuma domestica Val) and sambiloto (Andrographis paniculata Nees) flour to level of 1.5% not able to lower blood cholesterol levels and levels of broiler meat.
