| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini membahas tentang formula romance pada film Taiyou no Uta (2006) dan Yomei 10 Nen (2022). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan formula plot genre romance pada film Taiyou no Uta (2006) dan Yomei 10 Nen (2022). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan fiksi populer yaitu teori Cawelti yang didukung oleh formula romance Radway. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik simak catat. Metode analisis data menggunakan deskriptif analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari tiga belas sekuen dari formula romance yang dikemukakan Radway, hampir seluruhnya terpenuhi dalam film Taiyou no Uta (2006) dan Yomei 10 Nen (2022), kecuali kategori pemunculan konflik. Dari empat data yang disajikan pada kategori pemunculan konflik, terdapat dua data yang mengalami invensi dari film Taiyou no Uta. Namun, tak satu pun dari mereka memiliki invensi besar. Berdasarkan jalan cerita, situasi awal dan akhir kedua film tersebut memenuhi formula romance berdasarkan plot-plot yang membangun cerita yang telah mendukungnya. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This research discusses the romance formula of the films Taiyou no Uta (2006) and Yomei 10 Nen (2022). The aim of this research is to describe the plot formula in the romance genre of the films Taiyou no Uta (2006) and Yomei 10 Nen (2022). This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a popular fiction approach, it’s a Cawelti's theory which is supported by Radway's romance formula. The data collection method uses note-taking techniques. The data analysis method uses descriptive analysis. The results of this research show that of the thirteen sequences of the romance formula proposed by Radway, almost all of them are fulfilled in the films Taiyou no Uta (2006) and Yomei 10 Nen (2022), except for the category of generating circumstance. In the four data presented in the generating circumstance category, there are two data that have experienced invention from the film Taiyou no Uta. However, neither of them had any major inventions. Based on the storyline, the initial and final situations of the two films fulfill the romance formula based on the plots that build the story that support it. |
