| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Fluktuasi harga cabai merah keriting terjadi karena produksi cabai bersifat musiman, faktor hujan, biaya produksi, dan panjangnya saluran distribusi, saat musim hujan biasanya pasokan cabai merah keriting berkurang sebaliknya saat awal musim kemarau meningkat terutama di bulan Mei dan Juni. Fluktuasi harga cabai merah keriting terjadi di Indonesia termasuk di Kabupaten Kebumen. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui volatilitas harga cabai merah keriting di tingkat produsen dan konsumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder (time series) harga bulanan cabai merah keriting di tingkat produsen dan konsumen Kabupaten Kebumen pada kurun waktu tahun 2017 - 2021. Software digunakan untuk mengolah data adalah Eviews dan analisis digunakan adalah Autoregressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity (ARCH) Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity (GARCH). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model yang tepat untuk mengukur volatilitas harga cabai merah keriting Kabupaten Kebumen di tingkat produsen dan konsumen adalah ARCH (1,0) yang artinya dipengaruhi oleh volatilitas harga pada satu bulan sebelumnya. Harga cabai merah keriting di Kabupaten Kebumen mengalami volatilitas namun rendah dengan nilai koefisien sebesar 0,433733 dan 0,276405. Volatilitas yang rendah ini mencerminkan karakteristik harga cabai merah keriting di tingkat produsen dan konsumen yang sudah dapat diprediksi sehingga dapat diperkirakan di masa mendatang akan semakin stabil. Volatilitas harga cabai merah keriting di tingkat produsen menggambarkan kondisi petani sebagai price taker (penerima harga), cuaca, hama dan penyakit. Volatilitas harga cabai merah keriting di tingkat konsumen berkaitan dengan hari besar seperti bulan Ramadhan dan Hari Raya Idul Fitri, mendekati akhir dan awal tahun, terjadi awalnya pandemi covid-19. |

Inggris) | Fluctuations in the price of curly red chilies occur because chili production is seasonal, rain factors, production costs and the length of distribution channels, during the rainy season the supply of curly red chilies usually decreases, whereas at the start of the dry season it increases, especially in May and June. Fluctuations in the price of curly red chilies occur in Indonesia, including in Kebumen Regency. The aim of this research is to determine the price volatility of curly red chilies at the producer and consumer levels. This research uses secondary data (time series) of monthly prices of curly red chilies at the producer and consumer level in Kebumen Regency in the period 2017-2021. The software used to process the data is Eviews and the analysis used is Autoregressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity (ARCH) Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity (GARCH). The research results show that the appropriate model for measuring the price volatility of curly red chilies in Kebumen Regency at the producer and consumer level is ARCH (1.0), which means it is influenced by price volatility in the previous month. The price of curly red chilies in Kebumen Regency experiences volatility but is low with coefficient values of 0.433733 and 0.276405. This low volatility reflects the predictable characteristics of the price of curly red chilies at the producer and consumer level so that it can be expected that in the future it will become more stable. The volatility of curly red chili prices at the producer level reflects the condition of farmers as price takers, weather, pests and diseases. Volatility in the price of curly red chilies at the consumer level is related to holidays such as the month of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, nearing the end and beginning of the year, when the Covid-19 pandemic began. |
