Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui level nitrogen yang berbeda dari jenis pupuk anorganik terhadap luas daun dan warna daun Rumput Odot (Pennisetum purpureum Cv. Mott). Materi penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rumput Odot, pupuk organik feses sapi perah dan pupuk anorganik yaitu urea, NPK, dan ZA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Pemberian level pupuk anorganik berbasis pada kandungan nitrogen urea yaitu 100 kg/defoliasi/ha, 200 kg/defoliasi/ha, dan 300 kg/defoliasi/ha dan cara pemberiannya masing-masing dicampur dengan 3 kg pupuk organik feses sapi perah. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa pemberian berbagai pupuk anorganik tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap warna daun dan luas daun Rumput Odot (Pennisetum purpureum Cv. Mott). Perlakuan yang memperoleh hasil rataan tertinggi terhadap luas daun Rumput Odot adalah pemberian pupuk anorganik jenis Amonium Sulfat (ZA) yaitu sebesar 71,85 cm^2/petak. Kesimpulan penelitian yaitu Pemberian pupuk ZA sebanyak 99 g/1,5 m^2/defoliasi atau 657,14 kg/ha/ defoliasi cenderung meningkatkan luas daun dan warna daun Rumput Odot (Pennisetum purpureum Cv. Mott).
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)This research aims to determine the nitrogen levels of different types of inorganic fertilizer on the leaf area and leaf color of Dwarf Napier Grass (Pennisetum purpureum Cv. Mott). The research materials used were Dwarf Napier Grass, organic fertilizer from dairy cow feces and inorganic fertilizers, namely urea, NPK and ZA. The research method used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The level of inorganic fertilizer given was based on urea nitrogen content, namely 100 kg/defoliation/ ha, 200 kg/defoliation/ha, and 300 kg/defoliation/ha and the method of administration is each mixed with 3 kg of organic dairy cow feces fertilizer. The results of variance analysis showed that the application of various inorganic fertilizers had no significant effect on leaf color and leaf area of Dwarf Napier Grass (Pennisetum purpureum Cv. Mott). The treatment that obtained the highest average results on Dwarf Napier Grass leaf area was the application of inorganic fertilizer of the Ammonium Sulfate (ZA) namely 71.85 〖cm〗^2/plot. The conclusion of the research was that giving ZA fertilizer as much as 99 g/1.5 m^2/defoliation or 657.14 kg/ha/defoliation tends to increase the leaf area and leaf color of Dwarf Napier Grass (Pennisetum purpureum Cv. Mott).
