| Judul Artikel | Aktivitas Penyembuhan Luka Bakar Gel Kombinasi Ekstrak Etanolik Herba Sambiloto (Andrographis paniculata) dan Daging Daun Lidah Buaya (Aloe vera L.) Pada Tikus Putih (Rattus norvegicus) |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Latar Belakang: Herba Sambiloto (A. paniculata) dan lidah buaya (A. vera) mengandung senyawa metabolit sekunder seperti flavonoid, tanin, saponin, dan andrographolide yang berperan dalam proses penyembuhan luka bakar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh formula sediaan gel kombinasi ekstrak etanol herba sambiloto dan lidah buaya terhadap efek penyembuhan luka bakar pada hewan uji tikus putih (R. norvegicus). Metodologi: Penelitian eksperimental yang meliputi ekstraki, penyaringan, formulasi sediaan gel, dan aktivitas penyembuhan luka bakar. Terdapat empat kelompok perlakuan pada penelitian ini yang meliputi kelompok kontrol (KP), kelompok FI (sambiloto 5% & lidah buaya 15%), kelompok FII (sambiloto 10% & lidah buaya 15%), dan kelompok FIII (sambiloto 15% & lidah buaya 15%). Aktivitas penyembuhan luka bakar dilakukan secara makroskopis dengan melihat diameter luka untuk mendapatkan persentase penyembuhan luka selama 14 hari perlakuan dan secara mikroskopis dengan melihat ketebalan jaringan epidermis pada perlakuan ke-14 hari. Hasilnya diolah menggunakan software image raster dan dianalisis signifikansinya dengan menggunakan One-Way ANOVA. Hasil Penelitian: Variasi konsentrasi ekstrak etanol sambiloto dan lidah buaya mempengaruhi aktivitas penyembuhan luka bakar pada hewan uji. Formula III dengan konsentrasi sambiloto 15% dan lidah buaya 15% memiliki aktivitas penyembuhan luka bakar paling bak ketika dibandingkan dengan kelompok kulit normal. Kesimpulan: Gel kombinasi ekstrak etanol herba sambiloto dan lidah buaya dari semua formula memiliki aktivitas penyembuhan luka dan Formula III adalah yang paling efektif dalam menyembuhkan luka bakar. |

Inggris) | Background: Sambiloto (A. paniculate) and aloe vera (A. vera) herbs contain secondary metabolite compounds such as flavonoids, tannins, saponins, and andrographolide that play a role in the healing process of burns. This study aims to determine the effect of a combination gel preparation formula of ethanol extract of sambiloto herb and aloe vera on the healing effect of burns in white rat test animals (R. norvegicus). Methodology: Experimental research that includes extraction, filtration, gel formulation and burn healing activities. There are four treatment groups in this study which include control group (KP), FI group (sambiloto 5% & aloe vera 15%), FII group (sambiloto 10% & aloe vera 15%), and group FIII (sambiloto 15% & aloe vera). Burn healing activities are carried out chromoscopically by looking at the narrowing of the wound to get the percentage of wound healing during the 14 days of treatment and microscopically by looking at the thickness of epidermal tissue at the 14th day of treatment. The results were processed using raster image software and analyzed for significance using One-Way ANOVA. Results: Variations in the concentration of ethanol extracts of sambiloto and aloe vera did not affect the results of good physical properties of gel preparations which included viscosity test and dispersion. However, variations in the concentration of the extract affected the healing activity of burns in test animals. Formula III with a concentration of 15% sambiloto and 15% aloe vera has the best burn healing activity when compared with the normal skin group. Conclusion: The combination gel of ethanol extracts of sambiloto herb and aloe vera of all formulas meets the requirements of the physical properties test and Formula III is most effective in healing burns. |
