| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian minyak ikan lemuru dalam ransum ayam kampung terhadap status hematologis yang ditinjau dari kadar total protein plasma dan hemoglobin. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan, dan setiap perlakuan diulang 5 kali, dengan 3 ekor ayam setiap ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari : pemberian minyak ikan lemuru 0,0%; 2,5%; 5,0%; 7,5%. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian minyak ikan lemuru dengan level yang berbeda berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap kadar total protein plasma dan kadar hemoglobin darah ayam kampung. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah : penggunaan minyak ikan lemuru sebagai sumber omega 3 sampai level 7,5% dalam ransum ayam kampung tidak mempengaruhi fungsi fisiologis dalam tubuh ditinjau dari kadar total protein plasma dan hemoglobin darah yang normal.

Inggris) | The aim of this study was to know the effect of menhaden fish oil supplementation in local chicken ration to the hematological status based on plasm protein total and haemoglobin. This study was done experimntally in Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 trial repetitions with 3 chickens respectively. The treatment was manhaden fish oil supplementation at different levels, i.e. 0 %, 2.5%, 5.0% and 7.5%. The experiment data were analyzed using analysis of variance. The result indicated that manhaden fish oil supplementation at different levels were not significantly affected (P>0,05) the plasm protein total and hemoglobin level of local chicken. From this study, a conclusion could be raised that the used of manhaden fish oil as omega-3 source at the level up to 7.5 in local chicken ration did not affected the physiological function of the chicken based on the plasm protein total and hemoglobin content.
