Judul ArtikelPerbedaan Kadar Testosteron Serum Tikus Putih (Rattus norvegicus) Jantan pada
Model Stres Paradoxical Sleep Deprivation, Imobilisasi, dan Footshock Kronik
Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Latar Belakang: Testosteron merupakan hormon yang paling penting dalam
sistem reproduksi pria. Pada usia sekitar 30 tahun kadar testosteron mulai
menurun dan terus menurun secara bertahap sekitar 1% per tahun. Penurunan
kadar testosteron dapat dipercepat dengan adanya stres. Tujuan: Tujuan
penelitian ini adalah mengetahui perbedaan kadar testosteron serum tikus putih
(Rattus norvegicus) jantan pada model stres PSD, imobilisasi dan footshock
kronik. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan 21 ekor tikus putih jantan (Rattus
norvegicus) galur wistar usia 3-4 bulan, berat badan 200-300 gram. Tikus dibagi
4 kelompok, yaitu: kelompok 1 sebagai kontrol tanpa perlakuan, kelompok 2
diberikan perlakuan stres PSD, kelompok 3 diberikan perlakuan stres imobilisasi,
dan kelompok 4 diberikan perlakuan stres footshock. Penelitian berlangsung
selama 25 hari. Testosteron serum diperiksa 1 kali pada akhir penelitian dan
diukur dengan metode Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). Perbedaan
kadar testosteron serum dianalisis menggunakan uji Analysis of Variance
(ANOVA) dengan Post Hoc LSD. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa
terdapat perbedaan rerata kadar testosteron serum yang bermakna antara
kelompok kontrol (0,26±0,22 ng/mL) dengan kelompok PSD kronik (0,07±0,08
ng/mL) (p=0,014) dan antara kelompok PSD kronik dengan kelompok footshock
kronik(0,20±0,07 ng/mL) (p=0,011). Kesimpulan: Terdapat perbedaan rerata
kadar testosteron serum tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus) jantan pada model stress
PSD, imobilisasi dan footshock kronik.

Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)Background: Testosteron was the most important hormone of male reproductive
system. Age around 30 years old would start to do the decreasing of testosteron levels
about 1% per year. Decreasing of testosteron levels could be accelerated by stress.
Objective: This study aimed to know the difference of testosteron levels of male albino
rats (Rattus norvegicus) with chronic PSD, immobilization, and footshock stress
models. Method: This study used 21 rats (Rattus norvegicus) wistar strain 3-4 months
old, 200-300 gram weight. Rats divided to 4 gorups, which was: group 1 as a control,
group 2 was given PSD stress model intervention, group 3 was given immobilization
stress model intervention, and group 4 was given footshock stress model intervention.
The study was done for 25 days. Testosteron serum measured once at the end of the
study and measured using Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) method. The
difference of testosteron serum levels analized by Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) test
and followed by Post Hoc LSD. Result: The result of this study showed that there was
difference of average testosteron serum levels between the control group (0,26±0,22
ng/mL) and PSD group (0,07±0,08 ng/mL) (p=0,014) and between PSD group and
footshock group (0,20±0,07 ng/mL) (p=0,011). Conclusion: There was difference of
average testosteron levels of male albino rats (Rattus norvegicus) with chronic PSD,
immobilization, and footshock stress models.
