Indonesia) | Penelitian ini berjudul “Kepadatan dan Komposisi Sampah Plastik Makro dan Meso di Pantai Wisata Purworejo : Pemantauan Kebersihan Pantai Wisata Menggunakan Clean Coast Index (CCI)”. Aktivitas pariwisata yang dilakukan di pantai menimbulkan pencemaran lingkungan seperti menumpuknya sampah plastik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kepadatan, komposisi dan status kebersihan pantai sampah plastik di Pantai Jatimalang, Jetis, Ketawang menggunakan Clean Coast Index (CCI). Metode yang digunakan adalah random sampling dengan transek garis sepanjang 100 m di tepi pantai yang kemudian dilakukan pengambilan sampah plastik makro pada plot 20x20m dan sampah plastik meso pada plot 5x5m. Melakukan proses identifikasi sampah plastik untuk menentukan karakteristiknya. Melakukan perhitungan CCI untuk menentukan status kebersihan pantai wisata Purworejo. Hasil penelitian menunjukan komposisi sampah plastik yang ditemukan di dominasi oleh jenis PL07 (kantong plastik (buram atau bening)). Kepadatan sampah plastik tertinggi berdasarkan jumlah terdapat di Pantai Ketawang sebesar 2,18 item/m², sedangkan berdasarkan berat terdapat di pantai Logending sebesar 6,90 gram/m². Nilai CCI di pantai wisata Purworejo memiliki rentang nilai 14,32-21,81, sehingga status kebersihan pantai wisata Purworejo termasuk dalam kategori kotor. |

Inggris) | This research is entitled "Density and Composition of Macro and Meso Plastic Waste at Purworejo Tourist Beach: Monitoring the Cleanliness of Tourist Beaches Using the Clean Coast Index (CCI)". Tourism activities carried out on beaches cause environmental pollution such as accumulation of plastic waste. This research aims to determine the density, composition and beach cleanliness status of plastic waste at Jatimalang Beach, Jetis, Ketawang using the Clean Coast Index (CCI). The method used is random sampling with a 100 m line transect along the beach, then macro plastic waste is collected on a 20x20 m plot and meso plastic waste on a 5x5 m plot. Carry out the process of identifying plastic waste to determine its characteristics. Carrying out CCI calculations to determine the cleanliness status of the Purworejo tourist beach. The research results showed that the composition of the plastic waste found was dominated by the PL07 type (plastic bags (opaque or clear)). The highest density of plastic waste based on quantity is at Ketawang Beach at 2,18 items/m², while based on weight it is at Logending beach at 6,90 grams/m². The CCI value at the Purworejo tourist beach has a value range of 14,32-21,81, so the cleanliness status of the Purworejo tourist beach is included in the dirty category. |
