| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | DAVID DWI FEBRIYAN. Skripsi dengan judul “KONSUMSI AIR MINUM, FREKUENSI NAFAS DAN SUHU REKTAL DOMBA PRIANGAN YANG DIBERI PAKAN Indigofera sp. BENTUK HAY DENGAN TAMBAHAN PROBIOTIK” bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh pemberian Indigofera sp. bentuk hay yang ditambah probiotik terhadap konsumsi air minum, frekuensi nafas, dan suhu rektal domba Priangan. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni hingga Agustus 2023, bertempat di Kafilah Farm Desa Karangklesem, Kecamatan Purwokerto Selatan, Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode eksperimental Rancangan Bujur Sangkar Latin dengan 3 periode dengan 3 perlakuan dan 9 kali ulangan (jumlah hari), serta menggunakan 3 ekor domba Priangan jantan. Perlakuan yang diberikan yaitu A = 20% kangkung kering : 30% konsentrat : 50% Indigofera sp. bentuk hay tanpa probiotik, B = A + probiotik 2% dari BK ransum, C = A + probiotik 4% dari BK ransum. Pemberian air minum secara ad libitum terukur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rataan konsumsi air minum untuk A, B, dan C masing-masing 3,83 + 2,91 l/ekor/hari, 3,2 + 1,86 l/ekor/hari, 3,3 + 1,86 l/ekor/hari. Rataan frekuensi nafas untuk A, B, dan C masing-masing 47,6 + 8,32 kali/menit, 45,3 + 5,50 kali/menit, 40,6 + 5,13 kali/menit. Rataan suhu rektal untuk A, B, dan C masing-masing 38,73 + 0,11 0C, 38,60 + 0,10 0C, 38,63 + 0,11 0C. Berdasarkan hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa pemberian Indigofera sp. bentuk hay dengan tambahan probiotikmemberikan pengaruh berbeda tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konsumsi air minum, frekuensi nafas, dan suhu rektal domba Priangan. Pemberian probiotik sampai pada level 4% dari BK ransum tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap konumsi air minum, frekensi nafas dan suhu rektal domba Priangan, akan tetapi menunjukkan trend yang menurun pada frekuensi nafas domba walau tidak sampai pada kondisi normal. Penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian probiotik sampai pada level 4% dari BK ransum memberikan respon yang relatif sama terhadap konumsi air minum, frekensi nafas dan suhu rektal domba Priangan. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | DAVID DWI FEBRIYAN. Thesis with the title "DRINKING WATER CONSUMPTION, RESPIRATORY FREQUENCY AND RECTAL TEMPERATURE OF PRIANGAN SHEEP FOODED WITH Indigofera sp. HAY-SHAPED WITH PROBIOTIC ADDITIVES" aims to examine the effect of giving Indigofera sp. hay-shaped added with probiotics on drinking water consumption, respiratory frequency, and rectal temperature of Priangan sheep. The research was conducted from June to August 2023, at Kafilah Farm, Karangklesem Village, South Purwokerto District, Banyumas Regency. The research was conducted using the experimental method of Latin Square Design with 3 periods with 3 treatments and 9 replications (number of days), and using 3 male Priangan sheep. The treatments given were A = 20% dried kale: 30% concentrate: 50% Indigofera sp. hay-shaped without probiotics, B = A + probiotics 2% of ration BK, C = A + probiotics 4% of ration BK. Drinking water was provided ad libitum and measured. The results showed that the average drinking water consumption for A, B, and C were 3.83 + 2.91 l/head/day, 3.2 + 1.86 l/head/day, 3.3 + 1.86 l/head/day, respectively. Mean respiratory frequency for A, B, and C were 47.6 + 8.32 times/minute, 45.3 + 5.50 times/minute, 40.6 + 5.13 times/minute respectively. The mean rectal temperature for A, B, and C were 38.73 + 0.11 0C, 38.60 + 0.10 0C, 38.63 + 0.11 0C, respectively. Based on the results of the analysis of variance showed that the provision of Indigofera sp. hay-shaped with additional probiotics gave a different effect not significantly (P>0.05) on drinking water consumption, respiratory frequency, and rectal temperature of Priangan sheep. The provision of probiotics up to the level of 4% of the ration BK did not have a significant effect on drinking water consumption, respiratory frequency and rectal temperature of Priangan sheep, but showed a downward trend in the frequency of sheep respiratory although not up to normal conditions. The study can be concluded that the provision of probiotics up to the level of 4% of the ration BK provides a relatively similar response to drinking water consumption, respiratory frequency and rectal temperature of Priangan sheep. |
