| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara tingkat mortalitas dengan PBB dan FCR ayam niaga pedaging. Sasaran penelitian berupa enam flock pada kandang closed house di CV Serayu Farm 2 yang berada di Desa Losari, Kecamatan Rawalo, Kabupaten Banyumas dengan populasi total 130.500 ekor ayam niaga pedaging strain cobb yang dipelihara selama 34 hari. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diuji dengan uji korelasi bivariat metode pearson product moment untuk menguji korelasi antar variabel. Hasil uji menunjukkan korelasi negatif yang sangat nyata antara tingkat mortalitas dengan PBB karena koefisien signifikansi < 0,01 (0,009 < 0,01) dan nilai pearson korelasi sebesar -0,923. Korelasi antara tingkat mortalitas dengan FCR mempunyai korelasi positif sangat kuat yang searah karena nilai koefisien signifikansi < 0,05 (0,048 < 0,05) dan nilai pearson korelasi sebesar 0,815. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah peningkatan tingkat mortalitas ayam akan menghasilkan penurunan PBB dan peningkatan FCR. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This study aims to determine the correlation between mortality rate with weight gain and FCR of commercial broilers. The research targets were six flocks in closed house cages at CV Serayu Farm 2 located in Losari Village, Rawalo District, Banyumas Regency with a total population of 130,500 commercial broilers of cobb strain raised for 34 days. The data obtained were then tested with the bivariate correlation test using the pearson product moment method to test the correlation between variables. The test results showed a highly significant negative correlation between mortality rate and weight gain because the significance coefficient was <0.01 (0.009 <0.01) and the pearson correlation value was -0.923. The correlation between mortality rate and FCR had a very strong positive correlation in the same direction because the significance coefficient was <0.05 (0.048 <0.05) and the pearson correlation value was 0.815. The conclusion of this study is that increasing the chicken mortality rate will result in a decrease in weight gain and an increase in FCR. |
