Indonesia) | Penggilingan padi atau rice milling merupakan jenis usaha pertanian yang bergerak di bidang pelayanan jasa penggilingan gabah untuk menjadi beras siap konsumsi, baik untuk penggilingan hasil lahan sendiri maupun penyedia jasa. Jenis usaha tersebut dapat meningkatkan surplus tambahan bagi para pemilik unit penggiling gabah disamping dengan mengandalkan hasil pertanian sebagai sumber pendapatan utama. Salah satu pelaku usaha penyedia jasa penggilingan padi dan penjualan beras ialah kelompok tani “Tirta Mijil” yang berlokasi di Desa Bojongsari, Kecamatan Bojongsari, Kabupaten Purbalingga. Alat penggilingan yang digunakan ialah Rice Mill Unit Tipe 2 Pass Rice Grader yang merupakan unit bantuan dari Pemerintah Kabupaten Purbalingga. Penggilingan padi yang digerakan oleh kelompok tani tersebut termasuk dalam usaha baru yang perlu untuk mengidentifikasi layak atau tidaknya usaha yang sudah dijalankan selama beberapa bulan ini, sehingga memerlukan suatu studi kelayakan usaha secara kinerja mesin dan finansial. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan usaha penggilingan padi yang dijalankan oleh kelompok tani Tirta Mijil. Kelayakan usaha yang dijalakan tersebut dilihat dari kinerja yang meliputi (1) kapasitas kerja mesin, (2) rendemen giling, (3) energi spesifik dan (4) efisiensi mesin. Sedangkan secara finansial berdasarkan besarnya nilai: (1) Net Present Value (NPV), (2) Internal Rate of Return (IRR), (3) Profitability Index (PI), (4) BC Ratio, dan (5) Payback Period (PP). Proses pengambilan data dilakukan dengan observasi langsung di lapangan dan wawancara. Hasil perhitungan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kinerja mesin adalah sebagai berikut: (1) kapasitas kerja mesin sebesar 513,80 kg/jam; (2) rendemen giling sebesar 63%; (3) energi spesifik sebesar 2779,81 kJ/kg, dan (4) efisiensi mesin tergolong tinggi. Secara finansial, usaha penggilingan yang dijalankan selama 10 tahun dengan total produksi 57.600 kg selama satu tahun adalah (1) nilai NPV sebesar Rp 235.994.487,00; (2) nilai IRR sebesar 95%; dan (3) nilai BC Ratio sebesar 1,05; (4) nilai PI sebesar 6,05; dan (5) nilai PP sebesar 0,06 tahun. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa usaha penggilingan padi yang dijalankan oleh Kelompok Tani Tirta Mijil sangat layak untuk dijalankan selama usaha yang dijalankan tersebut sesuai dengan asumsi serta parameter yang ditentukan. |

Inggris) | Rice milling is a type of agricultural business that operates in the field of grain milling services to become rice ready for consumption, both for milling the produce of one's own land and for service providers. This type of business can increase additional surplus for owners of grain grinding units apart from relying on agricultural products as the main source of income. One of the business actors providing rice milling and rice sales services is the "Tirta Mijil" farmer group located in Bojongsari Village, Bojongsari District, Purbalingga Regency. The milling tool used is a Rice Mill Unit Type 2 Pass Rice Grader which is a unit assisted by the Purbalingga Regency Government. The rice mill run by the farmer group is a new business that needs to identify whether or not the business that has been running for several months is feasible, so it requires a business feasibility study in terms of machine and financial performance. Based on this, this research was carried out with the aim of analyzing the feasibility of the rice milling business run by the Tirta Mijil farmer group. The feasibility of carrying out the business is seen from the performance which includes (1) machine working capacity, (2) milling yield, (3) specific energy and (4) machine efficiency. Meanwhile, financially based on the value: (1) Net Present Value (NPV), (2) Internal Rate of Return (IRR), (3) Profitability Index (PI), (4) BC Ratio, and (5) Payback Period (PP). The data collection process was carried out by direct observation in the field and interviews. The results of these calculations show that the engine performance is as follows: (1) the engine working capacity is 513.80 kg/hour; (2) milled yield of 63%; (3) the specific energy is 2779.81 kJ/kg, and (4) the engine efficiency is relatively high. Financially, a milling business that has been running for 10 years with a total production of 57,600 kg for one year has (1) an NPV value of IDR 235,994,487.00; (2) IRR value of 95%; and (3) BC Ratio value of 1.05; (4) PI value of 6.05; and (5) PP value of 0.06 years. Based on these results, it shows that the rice milling business run by the Tirta Mijil Farmers Group is very feasible to run as long as the business run is in accordance with the assumptions and parameters determined. |
