| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Jerawat merupakan suatu kondisi peradangan pada kulit yang dapat disebabkan oleh bakteri Propionibacterium acnes. Kombinasi ekstrak etanol daun kelor dan sirih merah terbukti dapat menghambat bakteri P. acnes dengan sangat kuat karena mengandung senyawa flavonoid, saponin, tanin, alkaloid, fenol, dan eugenol. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk melihat pengaruh kombinasi ekstrak etanol daun kelor dan sirih merah terhadap sifat dan stabilitas fisik krim serta aktivitas antibakteri terhadap P. acnes. Penelitian eksperimental ini dilakukan pembuatan sediaan krim pada perbandingan F0 (0%:0%), F1 (5%:0%), F2 (0%:5%), F3 (2,5%:2,5%), dan F4 (1,25%:1,25%), evaluasi sifat dan stabilitas fisik serta uji aktivitas antibakteri dengan metode difusi sumuran. Hasil menunjukkan kombinasi ekstrak daun kelor dan sirih merah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap viskositas dan daya lekat krim, tidak berpengaruh terhadap stabilitas fisik krim selama penyimpanan, dan memiliki aktivitas antibakteri yang lebih baik dibandingkan krim ekstrak tunggal. Formula 3 (2,5%:2,5%) memiliki aktivitas antibakteri terhadap P. acnes paling besar yaitu sebesar 11,67 mm. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Acne is an inflammatory condition of the skin that can be caused by the bacterium Propionibacterium acnes. The combination of the ethanol extracts of moringa leaf and red betel leaf has been shown to inhibit P. acnes bacteria powerfully because they contain flavonoid, saponins, tannins, alkaloids, phenols, and eugenol. This study aims to see the effect of a combination of ethanol extracts of moringa and betel leaf on properties and physical stability of the cream as well as antibacterial activity against P. acnes. This experimental research was carried out to make cream in the ratio of F0 (0%: 0%), F1 (5%: 0%), F2 (0%: 5%), F3 (2.5%: 2.5%), and F4 (1.25%:1.25%), evaluation of physical properties and stability and antibacterial activity test using the well diffusion method. The results showed that the combination of Moringa leaf extract and red betel had a significant effect on the viscosity and stickiness of the cream, had no effect on the physical stability of the cream during storage, and had better antibacterial activity than single extract cream. Formula 3 (2.5%:2.5%) had the greatest antibacterial activity against P. acnes, which was 11.67 mm. |
