| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan teori semiotika The Codes of Television dari John Fiske yang dibagi menjadi tiga tahap analisis, yaitu level realitas, level representasi, dan level ideologi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui aspek-aspek dari setiap level dan mendeskripsikan aspek-aspek yang tercermin dalam film tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik menyimak dan mencatat. Data penelitian ini berupa gambar screenshot yang berjumlah 6 data nilai-nilai Bushido yang termasuk dalam 5 macam etika kerja. Hasil penelitian pada level realitas, nilai Bushido dalam etos kerja tertanam pada tokoh utama dan figuran yang dilihat dari aspek penampilan, dialog, gerakan, dan ekspresi. Sedangkan pada level representasi, kode-kode teknis yang menggambarkan adanya nilai Bushido dalam etos kerja tertanam pada tokoh utama dan figuran yang tercermin melalui aspek setting, properti, serta musik dan suara. Pada level ideologi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggambaran nilai Bushido dalam etos kerja pada tokoh-tokohnya menunjukkan ideologi maskulinitas. |

Inggris) | This research uses the semiotic theory approach of The Codes of Television from John Fiske which is divided into three stages of analysis, namely the level of reality, the level of representation, and the level of ideology. The purpose of this research is to find out the aspects of each level and describe the aspects reflected in the movie. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with listening and recording technique. The data of this research is in the form of screenshot images totaling 6 data of Bushido values that are included in 5 kinds of work ethics. The results of the research at the level of reality, Bushido value in the work ethic is embedded in the main character and extras seen from the aspects of appearance, dialog, movement, and expression. While at the level of representation, technical codes that illustrate the existence of Bushido value in work ethic are embedded in the main character and extras which are reflected through aspects of the setting, property, and music and sound. At the ideological level, it can be concluded that the depiction of Bushido value in work ethic on the characters shows the ideology of masculinity. |
