| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Fakta bahwa Indonesia memiliki jumlah penduduk yang besar namun persebarannya tidak merata menjadi salah satu perhatian terkait jumlah penduduk Indonesia. Migrasi merupakan salah satu dari tiga indeks dinamika penduduk, selain kelahiran (fertilitas) dan kematian (mortalitas). Berdasarkan hasil Sensus Penduduk 2020, provinsi-provinsi di Pulau Jawa dan Sumatera menjadi daerah tujuan utama bagi para migran risen dan pada saat yang sama kedua pulau ini menjadi pulau dengan kepadatan penduduk tertinggi di Indonesia. Kondisi ini dapat memmperlebar kesenjangan distribusi penduduk antardaerah di Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis menganalisis pengaruh upah minimum provinsi, tingkat kesempatan kerja dan PDRB terhadap migrasi masuk risen di Pulau Jawa dan Sumatera periode 2005-2020 serta mengetahui variabel yang paling berpengaruh terhadap migrasi masuk risen di Pulau Jawa dan Sumatera periode 2005-2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi data panel dengan metode terpilih Fixed Effect Model untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diperoleh upah minimum provinsi, tingkat kesempatan kerja dan PDRB secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap migrasi masuk risen di Pulau Jawa dan Sumatera. Kemudian Secara parsial upah minimum provinsi berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap migrasi masuk risen di Pulau Jawa dan Sumatera, tingkat kesempatan kerja tidak berpengaruh terhadap migrasi masuk risen di Pulau Jawa dan Sumatera, dan PDRB berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap migrasi masuk risen di Pulau Jawa dan Sumatera. Selanjutnya variabel yang paling berpengaruh terhadap migrasi masuk risen di Pulau Jawa dan Sumatera adalah PDRB. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah pemerintah perlu memperhatikan kebijakan untuk mengupayakan provinsi-provinsi di luar pulau Jawa dan Sumatera sebagai daerah tujuan utama para migran, sehingga persebaran migrasi tidak terkonsentrasi hanya di Pulau Jawa dan Sumatera saja. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The fact that Indonesia has a large population but its distribution is uneven is one of the concerns related to Indonesia's population. Migration is one of the three indices of population dynamics, in addition to birth (fertility) and death (mortality). Based on the results of the 2020 Population Census, provinces in Java and Sumatra are the main destination areas for upward migrants and at the same time these two islands have the highest population density in Indonesia. This condition can widen the gap in population distribution between regions in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of provincial minimum wages, the level of employment opportunities and GRDP on upward migration in Java and Sumatra for the 2005-2020 period and to determine the variables that have the most influence on upward migration in Java and Sumatra for the 2005-2020 period. This study uses panel data regression analysis with the Fixed Effect Model selected method to achieve the research objectives. Based on the results of the analysis, it is obtained that the provincial minimum wage, the level of employment opportunities and GRDP jointly affect the in-migration of risen in Java and Sumatra. Partially, the provincial minimum wage has a negative and significant effect on in-migration in Java and Sumatra, the level of employment opportunities has no effect on in-migration in Java and Sumatra, and GRDP has a positive and significant effect on in-migration in Java and Sumatra. Furthermore, the variable that has the most influence on in-migration in Java and Sumatera is GRDP. The implication of this research is that the government needs to pay attention to policies to strive for provinces outside Java and Sumatra as the main destination areas for migrants, so that the distribution of migration is not concentrated only in Java and Sumatra. |
