Indonesia) | Penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang “An analysis of strategies and their influence to the accuracy of the participial phrase translation in Lisa Kleypas’ blue-eyed devil’ into indonesian cinta tak terduga by Anggraeni”. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengetahui strategi-strategi penerjemahan dan untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah strategi-strategi itu mempengaruhi kualitas keakuratan hasil terjemahan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer diambil dari frase partisipial yang terdapat di dalam novel ‘Blue- Eyed Devil’ beserta terjemahannya. Sedangkan data sekunder diambil dari skor kuesioner yang diberikan oleh penilai dalam mengukur tingkat keakuratan terjemahan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil dari analisa menunjukkan bahwa terdapat enam strategi penerjemahan diterapkan oleh penerjemah dalam menerjemahkan frase partisipial ke dalam versi bahasa Indonesia. Strategi-strategi tersebut adalah linguistic amplification (68 data atau 54,83%), borrowing (24 atau 19,35), established equivalent (12 atau 9,68%), transposition (8 data atau 6,45%), literal translation (10 data atau 8,06%) dan addition (2 data atau 1,61%). Hasil dari kuesioner yang dibagikan pada penilai dalam mengukur tingkat keakuratan terjemahan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar data sangat akurat, meliputi 65 data or 81,25% , 13 data or 16,25% akurat dan 2 data or 2,5% tergolong tidak akurat. |

Inggris) | This research is about “An analysis of strategies and their influence to the accuracy of the participial phrase translation in Lisa Kleypas’ Blue-Eyed Devil’ into indonesian cinta tak terduga by Anggraeni. The purposes are to describe the translation strategies and to know how the strategies influence the accuracy of the translation. This research uses primary and secondary data. The primary data is taken from the participial phrases found in Lisa Kleypas’ Blue-Eyed Devil’ and its translation. While the secondary data, it is taken from the scores of the questionnaire given by raters in measuring the accuracy of the translation. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The result of analysis shows that there were six translation strategies applied by the translator in translating the participial phrases into indonesian. The linguistic amplification (68 data or 54,83%), borrowing (24 or 19,35%), established equivalent (12 or 9,68%), transposition (8 data or 6,45%), literal translation (10 data or 8,06%) and addition (2 data or 1,61%). The result of the questionnaire distributed to the raters in measuring the accuracy of translation shows that most of the data were very accurate amounted to 65 data or 81,25%, 13 data or 16,25% were accurate and 2 data or 2,5% was inaccurate. |
