| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh COVID-19, Earnings Per Share (EPS), Book Value Per Share (BVPS), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) terhadap stock return. Teori yang mendasari penelitian ini adalah teori sinyal. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada perusahaan sub sektor makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2018-2021. Terdapat 18 perusahaan sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini, dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel berupa purposive sampling. Metode pengambilan data menggunakan data sekunder. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 2 variabel dalam penelitian ini telah terbukti secara signifikan dan 3 variabel menunjukkan tidak signifikan. COVID-19 dan Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap stock return, sedangkan Earnings Per Share (EPS), Book Value Per Share (BVPS), Net Profit Margin (NPM) tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap stock return. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This study aims to examine the effect of COVID-19, Earnings Per Share (EPS), Book Value Per Share (BVPS), Net Profit Margin (NPM), and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on stock return. The theory underlying this research is signal theory. This research is focused on food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2021. There were 18 companies as samples in this study, using sampling techniques in the form of purposive sampling. The data retrieval method uses secondary data. Hypothesis testing using multiple regression analysis. The results showed that 2 variables in this study had been proven significantly and 3 variables showed insignificant. COVID-19 and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) have a negative and significant effect on stock return, while Earnings Per Share (EPS), Book Value Per Share (BVPS), and Net Profit Margin (NPM) do not have a significant effect on stock return. |
