| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Pakcoy merupakan tanaman sayur daun yang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi. Pakcoy termasuk tanaman yang tahan terhadap air hujan dan dapat dipanen sepanjang tahun karena tidak bergantung musim. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) konsentrasi pupuk organik cair dan dosis kompos basis Azolla terhadap perubahan sifat fisik tanah Ultisol, dan (2) konsentrasi POC dan dosis kompos basis Azolla terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman pakcoy. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di green house Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) terdiri atas 16 kombinasi perlakuan dengan jumlah ulangan sebanyak 4 buah, sehingga didapatkan 64 unit percobaan (setiap unit terdiri dari 2 polybag). Metode penelitian meliputi pembuatan poc dan kompos berbasis Azolla microphylla , persiapan sampel tanah, pemupukan, penanaman, pemeliharaan, serta pemanenan tanaman. Variable yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, bobot segar tanaman, bobot kering tanaman, bobot jenis isi, bobot jenis partikel, porositas, batas cair, batas lekat, batas gulung, batas berubah warna, jangka olah, dan indeks plastisitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa konsentrasi poc berbasis Azolla microphylla tidak berpengaruh terhadap semua variabel, sedangkan kompos berbasis Azolla microphylla berpengaruh nyata terhadap variabel batas lekat dan bobot tanaman kering. Interaksi aplikasi pupuk organik cair dan kompos berbasis Azolla microphylla menunjukan hasil berpengaruh nyata terhadap batas lekat dan batas berubah warna. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Pakcoy is a leafy vegetable plant with high economic value. It is a rain-resistant plant and can be harvested throughout the year, as it is not dependent on seasons. The objectives of this research are (1) Azolla-based POC concentration and Azolla-based compost dosage on the alteration of physical properties in Ultisol soil, and (2) Azolla-based POC concentration and Azolla-based compost dosage on the growth of pakchoy plants. This research was conducted in the greenhouses of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. The study employed a randomized complete block design (RCBD) comprising 16 treatment combinations with 4 replications, resulting in a total of 64 experimental units (each unit consisting of 2 polybags). The research methodology involved the preparation of liquid organik fertilizer and compost based on Azolla microphylla, soil sample preparation, fertilization, planting, maintenance, and plant harvesting. The variables observed included plant height, leaf count, fresh plant weight, dry plant weight, bulk density, particle density, porosity, liquid limit, plastic limit, shrinkage limit, color change limit, soil workability, and plasticity index. The research findings indicated that the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer based on Azolla microphylla had no significant impact on any of the variables examined. However, the Azolla-based compost exhibited a significant influence on the liquid limit and dry plant weight variables. Furthermore, the interaction between the application of liquid organik fertilizer and Azolla-based compost demonstrated a significant effect on the liquid limit and color change limit variables. |
