Kata kunci: Aplikasi, Membaca, Pembelajaran Daring, Quipper. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengajaran menggunakan aplikasi quipper school. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah; (1) untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan aplikasi quipper school dalam mengajar pemahaman membaca, (2) untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap penerapan aplikasi quipper dalam pembelajaran membaca, (3) untuk mengetahui kesan guru terhadap penerapan aplikasi quipper school untuk mengajar pemahaman membaca. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Fungsinya untuk mendapatkan deskripsi tentang kegiatan penerapan dari aplikasi quipper school, respon siswa terhadap penerapan aplikasi quipper shcool, dan kesan guru terhadap penerapan aplikasi quipper school untuk mengajar pemahaman membaca. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas sebelas SMA N 3 Slawi. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas Sebelas MIPA 4, SMA N 3 Slawi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Dalam menganalisis data, peneliti memilih, dan menyalin data yang terkait dengan tujuan penelitian. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah; (1) penjelasan penerapan aplikasi quipper school dalam mengajar pemahaman membaca, (2) tanggapan siswa; 95%, bahwa siswa antusias selama proses belajar mengajar pemahaman membaca melalui aplikasi quipper school, yang mana dapat dilihat dari hasil angket, bahwa 95% siswa memilih jawaban “ya” pada pertanyaan kuesioner ke empat yaitu “Apakah anda merasa lebih bersemangat untuk belajar dengan menggunakan quipper ?”, (3) Tanggapan guru; bahwa aplikasi quipper school mampu memberikan pengetahuan baru untuk siswa, aplikasinya mudah digunakan, dan membuat kegiatan belajar mengajar lebih efisien. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini adalah untuk guru-guru bahasa Inggris yang ingin menerapkan aplikasi quipper school sebagai media pengajaran harus menyiapkan materi dengan memilih materi yang telah tersedia dalam aplikasi quipper school yang sesuai dengan silabus, mengaktifkan latar belakang pengetahuan siswa, dan memfasilitasi siswa dengan adanya subsidi kuota internet,serta mengingat era pandemi sudah berakhir, sebaiknya guru mempertimbangkan kembali penggunaan aplikasi quipper school dalam proses pembelajaran agar tepat sasaran. |

Keywords: Application, Online Learning, Quipper, Reading This research mainly concerns on the use of quipper application as online learning media in teaching reading comprehension. The purposes of this research are; (1) To describe the implementation of quipper school application in teaching reading, (2) To know the students’ response toward the implementation of quipper school application in teaching reading, (3) To know the teacher’s impression on using quipper school in teaching reading. The methodology of this research is qualitative research method. The functions were to get an overview of the activities of implementing the quipper School application, the students responses of using quipper school application, and the teacher impressions of using quipper school application. The population of this research were the 11th grade students of SMA N 3 Slawi. The sample of this research was 11th MIPA 4 of SMA N 3 Slawi. The data were conducting by observation, interview, and questionnaire. In analyzing the data, the researcher selected, and transcribed the data related to the research objectives. The result of this research are; (1) the explanation of the implementation of quipper school application in teaching reading comprehension, (2) the students response; 95%, that students were enthusiastic during the teaching and learning process of reading comprehension through the quipper school application, which can be seen from the results of the questionnaire, that 95% of students chose the answer "ya" to the fourth question, namely “Apakah anda merasa lebih bersemangat untuk belajar dengan menggunakan quipper ?”, (3) The english teachers’ impressions about quipper school application, it can be seen from the interview results, that the English teacher’s responses; the quipper school application can provide new knowledge for the students, the application is easy to use, and it makes teaching and learning activities more efficient. The recommendations of this research are; for English teachers who want to use quipper school application as teaching media should prepare the materials which provided by the quipper school application by selecting the appropriate materials which relevant to the syllabus, activate the students’ background knowledge, facilitate the students with internet quota subsidies, and also considering that the pandemic era is over, teachers should reconsider using the quipper school application in the learning process so that it is right on target. |
