| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini difokuskan untuk mengimplementasikan podcast Spotify sebagai media pembelajaran alternatif pada Mahasiswa Semester 2 Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Universitas Jenderal Soedirman Tahun Akademik 2022/2023. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti membahas dan menguraikan beberapa poin. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengajaran listening menggunakan podcast Spotify diimplementasikan pada mahasiswa semester 2 Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Universitas Jenderal Soedirman Tahun Akademik 2022/2023, (2) Untuk mengetahui bagaimana hasil dari implementasi podcast Spotify kepada mahasiswa semester 2 Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Universitas Jenderal Soedirman Tahun Akademik 2022/2023. (3) Untuk mengetahui tanggapan mahasiswa semester 2 Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Universitas Jenderal Soedirman Tahun Akademik 2022/2023 setelah implementasi podcast Spotify. Metodologi penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain pra-eksperimental. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah 28 mahasiswa semester 2 Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Universitas Jenderal Soedirman Tahun Akademik 2022/2023. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes tertulis dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif, distribusi frekuensi dan pengelolaan grafik. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Pengajar harus membuat beberapa audio podcast berkualitas menggunakan Spotify. (2) Keterampilan listening siswa meningkat dalam penelitian ini. (3) Siswa merasa mendengarkan audio podcast di Spotify menarik dan bermanfaat karena mereka dapat mempelajari kosa kata baru dan mengembangkan keterampilan listening mereka. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This research is focused to implement Spotify podcast as alternative learning media on the 2nd Semester Students of the English Education Department Jenderal Soedirman University Academic Year 2022/2023. In this chapter, the researcher discusses and elaborate on some points. The purposes of this research are: (1) To find out how teaching listening using Spotify podcast is implemented to the 2nd semester students of English Education Department of Jenderal Soedirman University Academic Year 2022/2023, (2) To discover how is the result of the implementation of Spotify podcast to the 2nd semester students of English Education Department of Jenderal Soedirman University Academic Year 2022/2023. (3) To find out the response of the 2nd semester students of English Education Department of Jenderal Soedirman University Academic Year 2022/2023 after the implementation Spotify podcast. The methodology of this research is quantitative research with pre-experimental design. The participants of this research were 28 2nd semester students of English Education Department of Jenderal Soedirman University Academic Year 2022/2023. The data were collected through written test and interview. The technique of data analysis were descriptive statistics, frequency distribution and the management of graphs. The results of this research are: (1) The teacher should create some quality podcast audio using Spotify. (2) The students' listening skills were enhanced in this research (3) The students found listening to podcasts on Spotify to be interesting and rewarding since they could pick up new vocabulary and develop their listening skills. |
