| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | ABSTRAK Penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang Theme of Love in Joanna Fuchs’s the three poems: If not for you, Come to me and No one loves me like you do”. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan makna cinta dari ketiga puisi Joanna Fuchs. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tema cinta direfleksikan ke dalam tiga puisi melalui unsur-unsur intrinsik, seperti : diksi, citraan dan tema yang dihubungkan satu sama lain untuk mengungkap makna cinta. Puisi pertama“if not for you” menjelaskan tentang seseorang yang beruntung bertemu dengan seseorang yang dicintainya. Puisi Kedua “comes to me”menceritakan tentang seseorang yang tidak bisa menahan rindu kepada sang kekasih hati. Puisi yang ketiga” No one loves me like you do” menjelaskan tentang seseorang yang mau mencintai serta menerima kekurangan sang kekasih. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | ABSTRACT This research is about The theme of love in Joanna Fuchs’s three poems: If not for you, Comes to me and No one loves me like you do”. The purpose of the research is to find out the meaning of love in the three poems by Joanna Fuchs. The result shows that the theme of love is reflected in the three poems through the intrinsic elements such as diction, imagery and theme connect other to reveal love. The first poem entitled “if not for you” tells the readers about someone who is lucky to meet his/her lovers. The second poem entitled “come to me” tells the reader about someone who cannot be longing’s feeling and he or she who expects someone who fill the emptiness. The last, the poem entitled “No one loves me like you do” tells the reader about someone who accepts the love as what it is. |
