| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini berjudul “Analisis Tindak Tutur Direktif dalam Film Coco (2017)”. Penelitian ini berfokus pada menganalisis dan mengidentifikasi tindak tutur direktif yang diucapkan oleh tokoh-tokoh dalam film Coco. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori tindak tutur direktif oleh Charles W Kreidler (1998). Peneliti menemukan 62 data tindak tutur direktif yang diucapkan oleh tokoh dalam film Coco. Dari analisis data, jenis tindak tutur direktif yang dominan dalam film Coco adalah perintah dengan jumlah 47 ujaran. Perintah adalah salah satu jenis tindak tutur direktif yang digunakan oleh penutur untuk mengkomunikasikan keinginan penutur kepada mitra tutur untuk bertindak sesuai dengan keinginan penutur. Saat memberikan perintah, penutur memiliki kewenangan untuk mengungkapkan keinginan penutur agar lawan bicara bertindak sesuai keinginan penutur atau sebaliknya. Sedangkan jenis tindak tutur direktif yang paling sedikit ditemukan dalam film Coco adalah sugesti dengan jumlah hanya 4 ujaran. Saran adalah jenis tindak tutur direktif yang digunakan oleh penutur untuk menasihati pendengar tentang apa yang harus atau tidak boleh mereka lakukan. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This study entitles ‘Directive Speech Act Analysis in Coco (2017) Movie’. This study focuses on analyzing and identifying directive speech acts utterances spoken by the characters in Coco movie. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. The theories employed is directive speech act theory by Charles W Kreidler (1998). The researchers found 62 data of directive speech acts spoken by characters in Coco movie. From the data analysis, the dominant type of directive speech act in Coco movie is command with a total 47 utterances. Command is a type of directive speech act used by the speaker to communicate the speaker's desire for the hearer to act in the way that the speaker desires. When giving commands, the speaker has the authority to express the speaker's desire for the addressee to act as the speaker desires or vice versa. Meanwhile, the least type of directive speech act found in Coco movie is suggestion with a total only 4 utterances. Suggestion is a type of directive speech act used by the speaker to advise the hearer on what they should or should not do. |
