| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Artikel hasil penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hipotesis pengaruh intensitas pelaksanaan program pendidikan politik oleh Badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik terhadap tingkat kesadaran politik siswa siswi SMA/SMK di Kota Tegal sebagai pemilih pemula. Latar belakang adanya penelitian ini adalah masih banyak pemilih pemula yang enggan untuk memahami politik. Untuk sekarang ini pemilih pemula memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam politik, karena masa depan bangsa dan negara ditentukan oleh bagaimana sikap, tindakan, dan perilaku mereka. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif. Dalam menentukan lokasi penelitian menggunakan teknik sensus. Jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 500 siswa-siswi. Kemudian ditentukan sampel dengan margin of error 10% sehingga sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 84 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Teknik accidental sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, dan analisis korelasi rank spearman. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis terbukti. Itu artinya ada pengaruh antara intensitas pelaksanaan program pendidikan politik oleh Badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik terhadap tingkat kesadaran politik siswa-siswi SMA/SMK di Kota Tegal sebagai pemilih pemula meskipun terbilang sangat lemah. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This research-based paper aim to test the hypothesis of the influence of the intensity of the implementation of political education programs by the National Unity and Politics Agency on the level of political awareness of SMA/SMK students in Tegal City as first-time voters. The background of this research is that there are still many first-time voters who are reluctant to understand politics. For now, these first-time voters have a very important role in politics, because the future of the nation and state is determined by their attitudes, actions and behavior. The method used in this study is a quantitative research method. In determining the location of the research using census techniques. The total population in this study was 500 students. Then specified sample with the margin of error of 10% so the sample used as much as 84 respondents. The sampling technique used is accidental sampling technique. The data analysis techniques used in this study are validity test, reliability test, and spearman rank correlation analysis. Using quantitative research methods shows that the hypothesis is proven. This means that there is an influence between the intensity of the implementation of the political education program by the National Unity and Politics Agency on the level of political awareness of SMA/SMK students in Tegal City as first-time voters even though it is considered very weak. |
