| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Skripsi ini berjudul “Konstruksi Sosial Tokoh Rumanti Dalam Novel Perempuan Jogja Karya Achmad Munif”. Rumusan masalah yang disusun dalam skripsi ini adalah (1) Bagaimana konstruksi sosial membentuk karakter tokoh Rumanti?. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membedah sosial dalam novel yang membentuk karakter dari tokoh Rumanti dan bagaimana Tokoh Rumanti merespon kejadian dalam kesehariannya dengan karakter yang diciptakan oleh sekitarnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Cara kerja metode penelitian ini adalah menyusun data terlebih dahulu secara sistematis, rinci, dan jelas, serta data yang diperoleh dikemas dengan bahasa peneliti sendiri yakni jelas dan mudah dipahami pembaca. Skripsi ini menggunakan teknik analisis kondensasi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan, dan verifikasi kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian pada skripsi ini dengan teknik analisis ini adalah ditemukan bahwa berdasarkan novel, kondisi sosial tempat tokoh Rumanti hidup memiliki pengaruh yang besar dalam pembentukan karakter tokoh Rumanti. Sosial yang dimaksud meliputi lingkup keluarga inti, keluarga pasangan, dan budaya masyarakat Jogja. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This thesis is entitled "The Social Construction of Rumanti's Figure in Achmad Munif's Jogja Women's Novel". The formulation of the problems in this thesis are (1) How does social construction shape the character of Rumanti? The purpose of this study is to dissect the social in the novel that forms the character of Rumanti's character and how Rumanti's character responds to events in his daily life with the characters created by his surroundings. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The way this research method works is to first compile data in a systematic, detailed, and clear manner, and the data obtained is packaged in the researcher's own language, which is clear and easy for readers to understand. This thesis uses data condensation analysis techniques, data presentation, as well as drawing and verifying conclusions. The results of research on this thesis with this analysis technique is found that based on the novel, the social conditions where the character Rumanti lives has a great influence on the formation of the character of Rumanti.
