| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Tanah kapur termasuk lahan marjinal, juga merupakan tanah yang tidak subur dan memiliki keterbatasan unsur hara yaitu fosfor. Tanaman sorgum berpotensi dapat beradaptasi dan dikembangkan pada lahan marginal. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut yaitu dengan cara menambahkan pupuk TSP untuk mengatasi kekurangan unsur hara P. Upaya untuk meningkatkan penyerapan unsur hara pada tanaman di tanah kapur dengan pengaplikasian fungi mikoriza arbuskula. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian mikoriza – fosfat terhadap pertumbuhan panjang daun, lebar daun dan produksi segar tanaman sorgum yang ditanam di tanah kapur. Materi yang digunakan yaitu tanaman sorgum varietas numbu, pupuk triple super phosphate, dan fungi mikoriza arbuskula yang ditanam sesuai dengan perlakuan masing masing. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara eksperimental level analisis rancangan acak lengkap pola faktorial 4x4 serta ulangan 5 kali. Faktor pertama yaitu fungi mikoriza arbuskula sebanyak 0, 10, 20, dan 30 g/polybag dan faktor kedua yaitu level pupuk TSP sebanyak 0; 1,33; 2,66 dan 3,99 g/polybag. Setiap polybag berisi 3-5 tanaman. Penelitian dilakukan di Green House Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Variabel yang diukur adalah panjang daun, lebar daun, dan produksi bahan segar tanaman sorgum. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji Duncan Multiple Range Test. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa interaksi pemberian mikoriza-fosfat tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap panjang daun dan lebar daun dan berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi bahan segar. Hasil perlakuan pemberian mikoriza 20 g/polybag dan pupuk TSP 1,33 g/polybag menghasilkan panjang daun dan produksi bahan segar paling tinggi dibandingkan kontrol. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah perlakuan pemberian mikoriza 20 g/polybag dan pupuk TSP 1,33 g/polybag menghasilkan panjang daun dan produksi bahan segar yang optimal serta pemberian mikoriza 20 g/polybag dan pupuk TSP 2,66 g/polybag menghasilkan lebar daun yang optimal. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Limestone incl land marginal, too is soil that is not fertile and has limited nutrients, namely phosphorus. Sorghum plants have the potential to adapt and be developed on marginal land. Efforts were made to overcome this problem by adding TSP fertilizer to overcome the deficiency of nutrient P. Efforts to increase the absorption of nutrients in plants on limestone soils by applying arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi. This study aims to determine the effect of mycorrhiza – phosphate on the growth of leaf length, leaf width and fresh production of sorghum grown in lime soil. The materials used were the Numbu variety of sorghum, triple super phosphate fertilizer , and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi which were planted according to their respective treatments. This research was conducted at the experimental level of analysis with a completely randomized design with a 4x4 factorial pattern and 5 repetitions. The first factor was the arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi of 0, 10, 20, and 30 g/ polybag and the second factor was the level of TSP fertilizer by 0; 1.33; 2.66 and 3.99 g/ polybag. Each polybag contains 3-5 plants . The research was conducted at the Green House of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Jenderal Soedirman University. The variables measured were leaf length, leaf width, and production of fresh sorghum plant material . Next, the Duncan Multiple Range Test was carried out . The results of the analysis showed that the interaction of mycorrhizal-phosphate administration had no significant effect on leaf length and leaf width and had a significant effect on fresh material production . The results of the treatment of 20 g/ polybag mycorrhiza and 1.33 g/ polybag TSP fertilizer resulted in the highest leaf length and fresh material production compared to the control. The conclusion of this study is that the treatment of 20 g/ polybag mycorrhiza and 1.33 g/ polybag TSP fertilizer resulted in optimal leaf length and fresh material production and 20 g/ polybag mycorrhizal administration and 2.66 g/ polybag TSP fertilizer produced optimal leaf width. |
