| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian “Bobot Badan Induk pada Berbagai Tingkat Prolifikasi Hubungannya dengan Litter Size pada Domba Sakub” bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tingkat prolifikasi terhadap bobot badan induk pada domba Sakub dan mengkaji hubungan antara litter size dengan paritas dan bobot badan induk pada domba Sakub. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 3 minggu mulai tanggal 1 Juni 2023 hingga 22 Juni 2023, bertempat di Kelompok Tani Ternak (KTT) Kecamatan Paguyangan, Kabupaten Brebes. Materi penelitian yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan domba Sakub usia 2 – 3 tahun dan minimal memiliki paritas 2 (telah melahirkan 2 kali) sebanyak 46 ekor sebagai sampel. Alat dan bahan penelitian terdiri atas timbangan digital dan kuisioner data reproduksi domba Sakub. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survei. Variabel yang diukur meliputi litter size, paritas dan bobot badan induk. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan uji-t student unequal untuk menguji bobot badan induk dengan berbagai tingkat prolifikasi dan analisis regresi berganda untuk mengetahui bentuk dan keeratan hubungan antara litter size dengan paritas dan bobot badan induk pada domba Sakub. Hasil uji-t student terdapat perbedaan tidak nyata (P>0,05) pada prolfik rendah dan tinggi terhadap bobot badan induk, hasil analisis regresi ternyata litter size memliki hubungan yang nyata (P<0,05) dengan paritas dan bobot badan induk. Paritas dan bobot badan induk mempengaruhi liiter size sebesar 16,3% dengan persamaan garis litter size = 0,269+0,168(paritas)+0,015(bobot badan). Disimpulkan bahwa bobot badan induk pada prolifikasi rendah relatif sama dengan prolifikasi tinggi, namun secara numerik bobot badan induk prolfikasi tinggi lebih tinggi dibandingkan prolifikasi rendah sebesar 13,37%. Inggris) | The research "Mother's Body Weight at Various Levels of Prolification Relation to Litter Size in Sakub Sheep" aims to determine the effect of prolification rate on brood weight in Sakub sheep and to examine the relationship between litter size and parity and mother's body weight in Sakub sheep. The research was carried out for 3 weeks from 1 June 2023 to 22 June 2023, at the Livestock Farmers Group (KTT) Paguyangan District, Brebes City. The research material used was Sakub sheep aged 2-3 years and having at least parity 2 (having given birth 2 times) as many as 46 heads as a sample. Research tools and materials consisted of digital scales and questionnaires on reproductive data of Sakub sheep. The research was conducted using a survey method. Variables measured included litter size, parity and body weight of the mother sheep. Analysis of the research data used the student unequal t-test to test the mother's body weight with various levels of prolification and multiple regression analysis to determine the form and closeness of the relationship between litter size to parity and mother's body weight in Sakub sheep. Student t-test results showed no significant difference (P>0.05) in low and high prolific to mother's body weight, the results of the regression analysis showed that litter size had a significant relationship (P<0.05) with parity and mother's body weight. Parent parity and body weight affect litter size by 16.3% with the equation of the litter size line = 0.269+0.168(parity)+0.015(body weight). It was concluded that the mother's body weight at low prolification was relatively the same as that for high prolification, however numerically the mother's body weight for high prolification was higher than that for low prolification by 13.37%.
