| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Odontektomi merupakan prosedur kedokteran gigi di bidang bedah mulut untuk mengangkat gigi terpendam yang dilakukan dengan teknik pembedahan dan membutuhkan beberapa instrumen bedah tambahan. Prosedur odontektomi yang kompleks ini dapat menimbulkan masalah psikologis pada pasien yaitu munculnya kecemasan dental. Kecemasan dental dapat disebabkan oleh sejumlah faktor yaitu psikososial, perilaku, genetik, dan sosiodemografi. Faktor sosiodemografi dapat terdiri dari usia, jenis kelamin, dan pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan faktor sosiodemografi dengan tingkat kecemasan dental pasien sebelum tindakan odontektomi di RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto. Metode penelitian ini adalah observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pasien yang akan dilakukan tindakan odontektomi di RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik accidental sampling dengan jumlah sebanyak 75 responden pasien yang akan dilakukan tindakan odontektomi di RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Uji Chi-square dan Uji Regresi Logistik Multinomial. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa variabel usia mempunyai p (0,000) dan contingency coefficient cukup kuat (0,473), jenis kelamin mempunyai p (0,000) dan contingency coefficient kuat (0,673), dan pendidikan mempunyai p (0,041), dan contingency coefficient lemah (0,342). Simpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan antara faktor sosiodemografi meliputi usia, jenis kelamin, dan pendidikan dengan tingkat kecemasan dental pasien sebelum tindakan odontektomi di RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto serta variabel yang paling berpengaruh dengan tingkat kecemasan dental pasien sebelum tindakan odontektomi di RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto yaitu jenis kelamin. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Odontectomy is a dental procedure in the field of oral surgery to remove impacted teeth which are done surgically and requires several additional surgical instruments. This complex odontectomy procedure can cause psychological problems in patients, called the emergence of dental anxiety. Dental anxiety can be caused by many factors, such as psychosocial factor, behavioral, genetic, and sociodemographic. Sociodemographic factors can consist of age, gender, and education. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between sociodemographic factors and the dental anxiety level of patients before odontectomy at General Hospital Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto. This research method is analytically observational with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were patients undergoing odontectomy at General Hospital Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto. Samples were taken using an accidental sampling technique with a total of 75 patient respondents who would have had an odontectomy at General Hospital Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto. Data analysis in this study used the Chi-square test and Multinomial Logistic Regression Test. The results showed that the age variable had a fairly strong p (0.000) and contingency coefficient (0.473), gender had a strong p (0.000) and contingency coefficient (0.673), and education had a weak p (0.041) and contingency coefficient (0.342). The conclusion of this study is that there is a correlation between sociodemographic factors including age, gender, and education with the dental anxiety level of patients before odontectomy at General Hospital Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto and the variable that has the most influence on the dental anxiety level of patients before odontectomy at General Hospital Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto is gender. |
