Judul ArtikelPENGARUH PENGGANTIAN KONSENTRAT MENGGUNAKAN AMPAS TEMPE DAN SUPLEMENTASI COMPLETE RUMEN MODIFIER (CRM) TERHADAP KONSUMSI DAN KECERNAAN PROTEIN KASAR PAKAN DOMBA
Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penggantian konsentrat menggunakan ampas tempe dan suplementasi Complete Rumen Modifier (CRM) terhadap konsumsi dan kecernaan protein kasar pakan domba. Penelitian menggunakan 18 ekor domba lokal jantan umur 7-8 bulan dengan bobot rata-rata 20±2,34 kg. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dan menggunakan jenis penelitian eksperimen, sebagai kelompok sekaligus ulangan adalah bobot badan awal domba pasca masa adaptasi sebanyak 6 kelompok dan perlakuan sebanyak 3 antara lain P1: Jerami padi amoniasi ad libitum + konsentrat 2,5% BK dari bobot tubuh (kontrol), P2: Jerami padi amoniasi ad libitum + ampas tempe 2,5% BK dari bobot tubuh, dan P3: Jerami padi amoniasi ad libitum + ampas tempe 2,5 % BK dari bobot tubuh + 1 % CRM. Variabel yang diamati dalam penelitian ini konsumsi dan kecernaan protein kasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap konsumsi protein kasar. Nilai rataan konsumsi protein kasar (g/ek/h) pada perlakuan P1,P2, P3, secara berurutan yaitu 10,26±0,05; 14,35±0,78; 14,02±0,88. Perlakuan berpengaruh nyata (P<0,005) terhadap kecernaan protein kasar dengan nilai raatan kecernaan protein kasar (%) perlakuan P1;P2;P3 berturut-turut yaitu 59,44±3,65%; 67,85±3,44%; 63,56±4,83%. Disimpulkan bahwa ampas dapat menggantikan pakan konsentrat seluruhnya bahkan meningkatkan nilai konsumsi dan kecernaan protein kasar berturut-turut sebanyak 3,90% dan 3,93% tanpa perlu suplementasi CRM 1%.

Inggris)This study aims to examine the effect of concentrate replacement using tempe dregs and Complete Rumen Modifier (CRM) supplementation on the consumption and digestibility of crude protein of local sheep feed. The material used was 18 local male sheep aged 7-8 months with an average weight 20±2,34 kg. This research used a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) and used a type of experimental research, as a group as well as a repeat of the initial body weight of sheep after the adaptation period as many as 6 groups and 3 treatments, including P1: Ammoniated rice straw ad libitum + concentrate 2.5% DM of body weight (control), P2: Ammoniated rice straw ad libitum + tempe dregs 2.5% DM of body weight, and P3: Ammoniated rice straw ad libitum + tempe dregs 2.5% DM of body weight + 1% CRM. The variables observed in this study were consumption and digestibility of crude protein. The results showed that , The treatment had a very real effect (P<0.01) on crude protein consumption. The average value of crude protein consumption (g/head/d) in P1, P2, P3 treatment, respectively, was 10.26±0.05 g; 14.35±0.78 g; 14.02±0.88 g. The treatment had a significant effect (P<0.005) on crude protein digestibility with crude protein digestibility rate (%) P1 treatment; P2; P3 was 59.44±3.65% respectively; 67.85±3.44%; 63.56±4.83%. It can be concluded that tempe dregs can replace concentrate feed entirely and it can increase the consumption value and digestibility of crude protein by 3.90% and 3.93% respectively without CRM 1% suplementation.
