Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Latar Belakang: Remaja merupakan kelompok usia yang sangat berisiko terhadap kejadian anemia. Proporsi kejadian anemia lebih tinggi pada remaja putri dibandingkan dengan remaja putra. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi gizi melalui media video, infografis dan gabungan kedua media tersebut terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap mengenai anemia pada siswi SMP Negeri 1 Purwokerto.
Metodologi: Penelitian ini menggunakan quasi eksperimental design atau desain eksperimen semu karena eksperimen ini tidak memiliki ciri-ciri rancangan eksperimen yang sebenarnya. Responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 102 siswi SMP Negeri 1 Purwokerto yang dibagi menjadi 3 kelompok, yaitu kelompok siswi yang diberikan edukasi gizi melalui media video, kelompok siswi yang diberikan edukasi gizi melalui media infografis, dan kelompok siswi yang diberikan edukasi gizi melalui media video dan infografis (gabungan). Uji signifikansi perbedaan pengetahuan dan sikap siswi mengenai anemia antara sebelum dengan sesudah diberikan edukasi gizi melalui media video, infografis dan media gabungan dilakukan menggunakan paired sample t-test dan uji Wilcoxon.
Hasil Penelitian: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dan sikap siswi mengenai anemia antara sebelum dengan sesudah diberikan edukasi gizi melalui media video, infografis dan media gabungan. Hasil ini dibuktikan melalui paired sample t-test dan uji Wilcoxon yang menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (sig.) lebih kecil dari nilai α (0,05).
Kesimpulan: Edukasi gizi melalui media video, infografis dan media gabungan mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap siswi mengenai anemia.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)Background: Adolescent was an age group that had a very high risk of anemia. The proportion of anemia in female adolescents was higher when compared with male adolescents. This study aims to know the effect of nutrition education through the use of video media, infographic and a combination of these media on knowledge and attitude about anemia in female students at SMP Negeri 1 Purwokerto.
Methods: This study used a quasi-experimental design because the experiment within study did not have the characteristics of an actual experimental design. Respondents within study were 102 female students of SMP Negeri 1 Purwokerto that was divided into 3 groups, namely a group of female students who were given nutrition education through video media, a group of female students who were given nutrition education through infographic media, and a group of female students who were given nutrition education through video and infographic media (combined). Test the significance of differences in knowledge and attitudes of female students about anemia between before and after being given the nutrition education through video media, infographic, and combined media had been carried out used paired sample t-test and Wilcoxon test.
Results: The results of this study showed that there were significant differences in the levels of knowledge and attitudes of female students about anemia between before and after being given the nutrition education used video media, infographics and combined these media. This results were proven through paired sample t-test and Wilcoxon test which showed the significance value (sig.) less than value of α (0.05).
Conclusion: Nutrition education used the media of video, infographic, and combined these media was able to increase the students’ knowledge and attitudes about anemia.
