| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Lip Cream diminati wanita karena memiliki tekstur semi padat yang memudahkan diaplikasikan pada bibir dengan berbagai variasi warna. Bunga belimbing wuluh (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) memiliki kandungan antosianin yang menghasilkan pigmen berwarna merah dan dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pewarna alami untuk lip cream. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsentrasi ekstrak bunga belimbing wuluh yang menghasilkan lip cream dengan sifat fisik dan stabilitas paling baik. Penelitian dilakukan secara eksperimental. Proses ekstraksi bunga belimbing wuluh dengan metode maserasi menggunakan pelarut etanol 96%. Pembuatan lip cream menggunakan ekstrak kental bunga belimbing wuluh dengan konsentrasi 4, 6, 8, dan 10%. Uji sifat fisik lip cream meliputi organoleptis, homogenitas, pH, viskositas, daya sebar, daya lekat, uji hedonik, dan uji iritasi serta uji stabilitas fisik dengan metode freeze thaw. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keempat formulasi lip cream memenuhi syarat sifat fisik dan stabilitas fisik yang baik serta tidak mengiritasi kulit. Formula lip cream yang menghasilkan sifat fisik dan stabilitas fisik paling baik serta paling disukai responden yaitu konsentrasi 10% (F4). |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Lip Cream is in demand by women because it has a semi-solid texture that is easily applied to the lips in a variety of colors. Belimbing wuluh (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) flowers contain anthocyanins which produce red pigments and can be used as natural dyes for lip creams. This study aims to determine the concentration of belimbing wuluh flower extract which produces a lip cream with the best physical properties and stability. The research was conducted experimentally. The process of extracting belimbing wuluh flowers by maceration method using 96% ethanol solvent. Making lip cream using condensed extracts of belimbing wuluh flowers with concentrations of 4, 6, 8 and 10%. The physical properties test of the lip cream included organoleptic, homogeneity, pH, viscosity, dispersion, adhesion, hedonic test, and irritation test as well as physical stability test using the freeze thaw method. The results showed that the four lip cream formulations met the requirements for good physical properties and physical stability and did not irritate the skin. The lip cream formula that produces the best physical properties and physical stability and is the most preferred by respondents is a concentration of 10% (F4). |
