| Judul Artikel | HUBUNGAN MOTIVASI DAN ETOS KERJA DENGAN PENDAPATAN PETERNAK KAMBING PERANAKAN ETAWA RAS KALIGESING DI KECAMATAN KALIGESING KABUPATEN PURWOREJO |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Motivasi dan etos kerja penting dimiliki oleh peternak Kambing Peranakan Etawa Ras Kaligesing di Kecamatan Kaligesing karena diduga mempengaruhi pendapatan usaha ternak Kambing Peranakan Etawa Ras Kaligesing. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mengetahui motivasi peternak kambing Kambing Peranakan Etawa Ras Kaligesing, (2) mengetahui etos kerja peternak Kambing Peranakan Etawa Ras Kaligesing, (3) mengetahui pendapatan peternak Kambing Peranakan Etawa Ras Kaligesing, (4) menganalisis hubungan motivasi dan etos kerja dengan pendapatan peternak Kambing Peranakan Etawa Ras Kaligesing. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei. Penentuan wilayah penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode purposive sampling di Kecamatan Kaligesing yang merupakan pusat pengembangan peternakan Kambing PE. Kecamatan Kaligesing memiliki 21 desa, diambil 15% sebagai sampel desa. Pemilihan desa dilakukan secara acak sebanyak 3 desa dari jumlah desa yang memiliki kelompok Peternak Kambing PE, terpilih Desa Pandanrejo, Desa Donorejo dan Desa Tawangsari. Jumlah responden dihitung menggunakan rumus slovin dengan margin of error 10%, diperoleh responden sebanyak 80 orang. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif dan analisis korelasi rank spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peternak kambing di Kecamatan Kaligesing, Purworejo memiliki motivasi dalam kategori sedang dengan jumlah skor 22,675 , etos kerja dalam kategori tinggi dengan jumlah skor 38,225 dan rata-rata memperoleh pendapatan sebesar Rp18,034,224 per tahun/peternak. Berdasarkan hasil analisis rank spearman, motivasi dan etos kerja mempunyai hubungan yang cukup kuat dengan pendapatan peternak kambing. |

Inggris) | Motivation and work ethic are important for breeders of the Etawa Race Kaligesing Goat in Kaligesing District because they are suspected of affecting the income of the Etawa Race Kaligesing Goat livestock business. The aims of this study were (1) to find out the motivation of the Etawa Ras Kaligesing goat breeders, (2) to find out the work ethic of the Etawa Ras Kaligesing goat breeders, (3) to find out the income of the Etawa Ras Kaligesing goat breeders, (4) to analyze the relationship between motivation and ethos working with the income of breeders of the Etawa Race Kaligesing Goat. This study uses a survey method. The determination of the research area was carried out using a purposive sampling method in the Kaligesing District which is the center for the development of PE Goat husbandry. Kaligesing District has 21 villages, 15% of which are sampled villages. Village selection was carried out randomly as many as 3 villages from the number of villages that had PE Goat Breeders groups, Pandanrejo Village, Donorejo Village and Tawangsari Village were selected. The number of respondents was calculated using the slovin formula with a 10% margin of error, resulting in 70 respondents. The selection of respondents was taken randomly. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and spearman rank correlation analysis. The results showed that goat breeders in Kaligesing District, Purworejo had motivation in the medium category with a total score of 22.675, work ethic in the high category with a total score of 38.225 and an average income of IDR 18,034,224 per year/breeder. Based on the results of Spearman's rank analysis, motivation and work ethic have a fairly strong relationship with the income of goat breeders |
