| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh suplementasi kulit jeruk (citrus) pada pakan domba ekor gemuk terhadapa kecernaan bahan organik dan kecernaaan bahan kering secara in vivo. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 10 September 2022, yang berlokasi di Kafilah Farm dan Laboratorium Ilmu Bahan Makanan Ternak, Fakultas Peternakan, Univeristas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto. Materi yang digunakan yaitu 21 ekor domba ekor gemuk yang berlokasi di Kafilah Farm, Pakan basal yang terdiri dari konsesntrat dan hijaun dengan perbandingan 30%:70%, serta penambahan tepung kulit jeruk (Citrus). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) one way classification. Terdapat 3 perlakuan yang di uji yaitu R0 sebagai pakan basal (hijauan 70% + konsentrat 30%), R1 (pakan basal + tepung kulit jeruk 2,25%), R2 (pakan basal + tepung kulit jeruk 4,5%). Setiap perlakuan dilakukan sebanyak 7 kali ulangan. Peubah respon yang diamati dan diukur adalah kecernaan bahan kering dan kecernaan bahan organik pakan. Rataan kecernaan bahan kering yang diperoleh pada perlakuan R0 = 52,57±6%, R1 = 51,90±3%, R2 = 60,16±2%. Hasil penenilitain menunjukan bahwa perlakuan memberikan pengaruh berbeda sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap kecernaan bahan kering dan bahan organik. Rataan kecernaan bahan organik yang diperoleh pada perlakuan R0 = 47,36±6%, R1 = 50,91±3%, R2 = 62,32±6%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa ditinjau dari kecernaan bahan kering dan bahan organik suplementasi kulit jeruk terbaik adalah 4,5% dalam pakan domba. |

Inggris) | This research was carried out to examine the effect of citrus peel supplementation in the diet of fat-tailed sheep on organic matter digestibility and dry matter digestibility in vivo, which was conducted on September 10th, 2022, located at Kafilah Farm and the Laboratory of Animal Feed Stuff, Faculty of Animal Sciences, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto. The material used was 21 fat-tailed sheep located at Kafilah Farm, with a basal diet consisting of concentrate and forage in a ratio of 30%:70%, as well as the addition of citrus peel powder (Citrus). The method used was an experimental method using a completely randomized design (CRD) one-way classification. There were 3 treatments tested, namely R0 as the basal diet (70% forage + 30% concentrate), R1 (basal diet + 2.25% citrus peel powder), and R2 (basal diet + 4.5% citrus peel powder), each treatment was repeated times. The response variable observed and measured were dry matter digestibility and organic matter digestibility of the feed. The average dry matter digestibility obtained in treatments R0 = 52.57±6%, R1 = 51.90± and 3%, R2 = 60.16±2%. The results of the study showed that the treatments had a significantly different effect (P<0.01). The average organic matter digestibility obtained in treatments R0 = 47.36±6%, R1 = 50.91±3%, and R2 = 62.32±6%. The results of the study showed that the treatments 1 had a significantly different effect (P<0.01). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that in terms of digestibility of dry matter and organic matter, the best citrus peel supplementation is at 4.5% on sheep feed. |
