| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Latar Belakang: Perawatan saluran akar adalah suatu usaha dalam mempertahankan gigi dengan tujuan menghilangkan iritan dan mencegah infeksi. Irigasi merupakan salah satu step untuk preparasi saluran akar. Tujuan dari irigasi saluran akar adalah membersihkan kanal agar instrumentasi mekanik dalam sistem akar dapat terjadi chemomecanical debridement. Salah satu bahan yang dapat digunakan untuk irigasi adalah Qmix. Tahap setelah irigasi adalah proses penutupan sistem saluran akar menggunakan sealer yang menempel pada dentin. Tujuan: Mengetahui perbedaan kekuatan pelekatan sealer pada dinding saluran akar setelah dilakukan irigasi Qmix dengan waktu yang bervariasi. Metode: Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu eksperimental laboratorium dengan rancangan penelitian post test only control group design. Penelitian ini menggunakan total 32 sampel dengan 4 kelompok. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji one way ANOVA yang dilanjutkan dengan uji LSD. Hasil: Terdapat perbedaan bermakna antar waktu percobaan dengan kekuatan pelekatan sealer pada dinding saluran akar (p<0,05). Terdapat perbedaan bermakna antar variasi waktu yang digunakan untuk irigasi dengan Qmix terhadap perbedaan kekuatan pelekatan sealer pada dinding saluran akar (p<0,05). Kesimpulan: Terdapat perbedaan bermakna antar variasi waktu yang digunakan untuk irigasi dengan Qmix terhadap perbedaan kekuatan pelekatan sealer pada dinding saluran akar. Waktu irigasi dengan Qmix 10 menit didapati kekuatan pelekatan sealer pada dinding saluran tertinggi pada penelitian ini. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Background: Root canal treatment is an attempt to preserve teeth with the aim of removing irritants and preventing infection. Irrigation is one step for root canal preparation. The goal of root canal irrigation is to clear the canals so that mechanical instrumentation in the root system can allow chemomechanical debridement. One of the materials that can be used for irrigation is Qmix. The stage after irrigation is the process of closing the root canal system using a sealer that adheres to the dentine. Objective: Determine the difference in sealer adhesion strength to the root canal wall after Qmix irrigation at various times. Methods: The type of research used was laboratory experimental with a post-test-only control group design research design. This study used a total of 32 samples with 4 groups. Data analysis was performed univariately and bivariate using the one-way ANOVA test followed by the LSD test. Results: There was a significant difference between the time of the experiment and the sealer's adhesion strength to the root canal wall (p<0.05). There was a significant difference between the variations in the time used for irrigation with Qmix on differences in the sealer's adhesion strength to the root canal walls (p<0.05). Conclusion: There is a significant difference between the variations in the time used for irrigation with Qmix on differences in the sealer's adhesion strength to the root canal walls.
