Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Latar belakang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan konsumsi pakan dan bobot awal DOC (Day Old Chick) pada setiap lantai kandang cloused house serta dapat mengetahui pertambahan bobot badan dan bobot panen. Keberhasilan produksi ayam niaga pedaging dapat dilihat melalui jumlah konsumsi pakan dan pertambahan bobot badan harian. Data performa produksi yang diteliti meliputi bobot rata-rata DOC, bobot rata-rata pertumbuhan bobot badan harian (PBBH), rata-rata konsumsi pakan, dan rata-rata bobot panen setiap lantai. Materi dan metode. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu ayam niaga pedaging sebanyak 44.000 ekor, dengan rincian lantai 1 sejumlah 22.000 ekor dan lantai 2 sejumlah 22.000 ekor. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan analisis deskriptif. Cara pengambilan data mennggunakan metode random sampling sebanyak 30 ekor tiap lantainya. Hasil. Hasil perhitungan rata-rata konsumsi pakan lantai 1 sebanyak 83,63±38,1 g/ekor, lantai 2 sebanyak 83,26±38,9 g/ekor. Pertambahan bobot badan harian lantai 1 sebanyak 67,65±32,9 g/ekor/hari, dan lantai 2 sebanyak 68,48±32,2 g/ekor/hari. Rata-rata bobot panen lantai 1 sebesar 2.100 g/ekor, dan lantai 2 sebesar 2.130 g/ekor. Kesimpulan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian di kandang bintang unggas selatan (BUS) Kebumen menunjukkan bahwa lantai 2 memiliki performa produksi lebih baik, dengan rata-rata konsumsi pakan yang lebih efisien, pertumbuhan bobot badan harian (PBBH) dan bobot panen tertinggi.

This study aims to determine the ratio of feed consumption and initial weight of DOC (Day Old Chick) on each floor of the closed house cage and to determine body weight gain and harvest weight. The success of commercial broiler production can be seen from the amount of feed consumption and daily body weight gain. Production performance data studied included the average weight of DOC, average daily body weight growth (PBBH), average feed consumption, and average harvested weight for each floor. Materials and methods. The material used in the study was 44,000 commercial broiler chickens, with details on the 1st floor of 22,000 tails and the 2nd floor of 22,000 tails. This research uses case study method with descriptive analysis. How to collect data using random sampling method as many as 30 tails per floor. Results. The results of the calculation of the average feed consumption on the 1st floor were 83.63 ± 38.1 g/head, the 2nd floor was 83.26 ± 38.9 g/head. The daily body weight gain on the 1st floor was 67.6 ±32.9 g/head/day, and on the 2nd floor it was 68.48±32.2 g/head/day. The average harvest weight on the 1st floor is 2,100 g/head, and on the 2nd floor is 2,130 g/head. Conclusion. The conclusion from research in the Kebumen southern star poultry pen (BUS) showed that the 2nd floor had better production performance, with an average more efficient feed consumption, daily body weight growth (PBBH) and the highest harvest weight.
