| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Laporan tugas akhir ini berjudul “Translating Animated Short Film Riko The Series From Indonesian Into English”. Riko The Series merupakan serial animasi anak-anak yang mendidik dan menyajikan konten-konten ilmiah yang berkaitan dengan Al-Qur’an di setiap episodenya. Tujuan dari Praktek Kerja ini adalah untuk menerjemahkan film pendek animasi berjudul “Riko The Series”, menjelaskan proses penerjemahan, menjelaskan teknik yang digunakan untuk menerjemahkan film pendek Riko The Series, dan menjelaskan kendala dan solusi dalam menerjemahkan film pendek “Riko The Series” . Penerjemahan film pendek “Riko The Series” ini terdiri dari beberapa tahap, yaitu; menganalisis film pendek Riko The Series, mengalihkan pesan dari bahasa sumber ke bahasa sasaran, menyusun ulang pesan yang terkandung dalam bahasa sumber, dan mengevaluasi hasil terjemahan. Teknik penerjemahan yang digunakan dalam menerjemahkan film Riko The Series adalah Amplification, Variation, Transposition, Borrowing, Literal Translation. Selama proses penerjemahan, kendala yang dihadapi adalah minimnya kosa kata, sulitnya menemukan diksi yang tepat, dan sulitnya menyamakan akurasi subtitle dengan ketepatan waktu dialog film. Untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut, solusi yang digunakan yaitu; berkonsultasi dengan dosen pembimbing, mencari istilah dalam bahasa target dari kata yang tidak dimengerti dengan bantuan kamus, dan mempelajari fitur-fitur yang terdapat pada aplikasi subtitle aegisub. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The title of the final project report is "Translating Animated Short Film Entitled Riko The Series". Riko The Series is an animated children's series that is educational and presents scientific content related to the Qur’an (Quranic Sciences) in each episode. The purposes of this job training are to translate an animated short film entitled “Riko The Series”, to explain the translation process and the techniques used to translate the short film Riko The Series, and to explain the obstacles and solutions when translating the short film “Riko The Series”. The translation of this short film “Riko The Series” consists of several steps; They were analyzing the short film Riko The Series, transferring the message from the source language to the target language, restructuring the message contained in the source language, and evaluating the results of the translation. The translation techniques used in this job training were Amplification, Variation, Transposition, Borrowing, Literal Translation. During the job training, the obstacles faced were the lack of vocabulary, the difficulty of finding the right diction, and the difficulty of equating the accuracy of subtitles with the timeliness of film dialogue. To overcome the obstacles, the solutions were consulting to the supervisors, looking for terms in the target language from words that are not understood with the help of a dictionary, and learning the features contained in the aegisub subtitle application. |
