| Judul Artikel | Korelasi antara Informasi Persuasi dalam Kegiatan Hubungan Internal Humas dengan Sikap Pekerja di Gran Melia Jakarta Hotel |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini berangkat dari keinginan untuk membuktikan teori sikap Likert dan Corporate Culture Theory oleh Deal dan Kennedy (Pace: 1993), dikatakan bahwa kandungan budaya yang meliputi; nilai-nilai, lambang, ritus, dan ritual dapat mempengaruhi sikap dan kinerja sebuah perusahaan. Terdapat dua variabel, yaitu Informasi Persuasi (variabel bebas) dan Sikap Pekerja (variabel terikat). Dimensi variabel Informasi Persuasi meliputi; Presentasi, Perhatian, Komprehensi, Pengakuan, Pengadopsian, dan Tindakan. Dimensi variabel Sikap Pekerja meliputi; Pengetahuan, Emosional, dan Tindakan. Masing-masing variabel tersebut memiliki 12butir pernyataan untuk disebar dan direspon oleh subjek penelitian ini. Hipotesis (H1) penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan yang positif antara informasi persuasi dalam kegiatan hubungan internal humas dengan sikap pekerja di Gran Melia Jakarta Hotel, sedangkan H0 adalah tidak terdapat hubungan antara kedua variabel tersebut. Untuk menguji hipotesis tersebut, peneliti menjadikan para pekerja di Gran Melia Jakarta Hotel yang berpopulasi 623orang. Dari jumlah tersebut diambil sampel dengan menggunakan rumus Taro Yamane (Riduwan: 2005) untuk Proportional Stratified Random Sampling, dan menghasilkan 86responden sebagai subjek penelitian. Kedua variabel dari penelitian ini diuji validitasnya dengan metode kuantitatif (metode survey), yaitu uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment, sedangkan Split Half untuk menguji reliabilitas data. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan korelasi Pearson Product Moment yang menunjukan korelasi sebesar 0,429 dengan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 95% (α=0.05), maka dapat diartikan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang cukup kuat antara Informasi Persuasi dalam kegiatan hubungan internal yang dilakukan oleh humas dengan Sikap pekerja di Gran Melia Jakarta Hotel. Dengan mengetahui visi dan misi perusahaan baik dalam bentuk verbal maupun nonverbal dengan cara melibatkan diri melalui kegiatan hubungan internal, maka pekerja dapat bersikap dalam bekerja sehari-hari berdasarkan apa yang diharapkan oleh perusahaan sehingga terciptalah atmosfir kerja yang efektif. | Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This research entitled “The Correlation between Persuading Information within the Public Relations’s Internal Relations Activities and Its Employee’s Attitude in Gran Melia Hotel Jakarta.” The aim of this research is to proof the realibility of Corporate Culture Theory by Deal and Kennedy (Pace: 1993) and Likert Attitude Theory, who have assessed that culture contains of; values, signs, rites, and ritual or habits that might influence the attitude and work ethic within the the employees in a corporate. There are two variables in this research, and they are Persuading Information (Independent Variable) and Employee’s Attitude (Dependent Variable). Presentation, Comprehension, Yielding, Retention, and Overt Behavior indicate an Independent Variable. On the other hand, a dependent variable is being indicated by Cognitive, Affective, and Behavior. Each variable has its 12statements to be responded by the subject. The hypotheses (H1) of this research assessed, that “There is a correlation between Persuading Information within the Public Relations’s Internal Relations Activities and Its Employee’s Attitude in Gran Melia Hotel Jakarta, and H0 for the opposite one. In order to examine the validity of this research, the researcher utilizes the employees of Gran Melia Jakarta Hotel as her subject. The amount of its population in that company is 623persons and were being reduced by utilizing the Proportional Stratified Random Sampling formula by Taro Yamane (Riduwan: 2005), and the result becomes 86respondents who will be received the statements. Both variables are being analyzed by using quantitative method (survey method) and for correlation test by using Pearson Product Moment in order to examine the validity of this research and using Split Half method for its reliability. And the result is that 0,429 based on the Product Moment calculation shows 95% significant level correlation strong enough. It means that the research has proven the correlation between persuading information within the activities of Public Relation’s internal relations and the employee’s attitude in Gran Melia Jakarta Hotel. The greater persuaded communicant by the goal and the corporate culture information either in verbal or nonverbal communication including self-involvement between the employees and its management, the more effective work ethic that would be received by its company where public relations officer hands a big power within its implementations of communicating those persuading informations. |
