| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Pemeliharaan sistem closed house memungkinkan dilakukannya manipulasi lingkungan sesuai dengan kebutuhan kenyamanan ayam broiler. Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan mengkaji performa ayam broiler periode brooding dan hubungan panjang bulu punggung dan panjang bulu sayap dengan bobot badan ayam broiler pada pemeliharaan sistem closed house. Materi pada penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu ayam broiler strain lohmann sebanyak 25 ekor selama periode brooding pada pemeliharaan sistem closed house di Kecamatan Kunduran, Kabupaten Blora, Jawa Tengah. Penimbangan bobot badan ayam broiler menggunakan timbangan digital dengan satuan gram (g). Pengukuran panjang bulu punggung dan panjang bulu sayap menggunakan metline dalam satuan sentimeter (cm). Metode yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi linier sederhana menggunakan SPSS IBM 25. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya hubungan keeratan (P<0,05) antara panjang bulu dengan bobot badan ayam broiler pada pemeliharaan sistem closed house. Nilai korelasi panjang bulu punggung dan panjang bulu sayap masing-masing yaitu 0,961 dan 0,987 serta nilai determinasi panjang bulu punggung dan panjang bulu sayap sebesar 0,924% dan 0,974%. Ayam broiler pada periode brooding belum menampilkan performa yang optimal berupa capaian bobot badan yang ideal. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Maintenance of a closed house system allows environmental manipulation according to the comfort needs of broiler chickens. The research was conducted to examine the performance of broiler chickens during the brooding period and the relationship between back feather length and wing feather length with broiler body weight in closed house maintenance. The material for the research was 25 Lohmann strain broiler chickens during the brooding period in the maintenance of a closed house system in Kunduran District, Blora Regency, Central Java. Weighing the body weight of broiler chickens using a digital scale with units of grams (g). Measuring the length of the back feathers and the length of the wing feathers with metline in centimeters (cm). The method used is simple linear regression analysis using SPSS IBM 25. The results of the analysis showed that there was a close relationship (P<0.05) between feather length and broiler body weight in closed-house maintenance. The correlation values of the length of the back feathers and the length of the wing feathers were 0,961 and 0,987 respectively and the determined values of the length of the back feathers and the length of the wing feathers were 0,924% and 0,974%.
