| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Melalui variabel kontrol yang terdiri atas firm size dan leverage, tujuan studi ini ialah guna mencari tahu bagaimana nilai perusahaan (Tobin’s Q) dipengaruhi oleh Good Corporate Governance (frekuensi rapat dewan, ukuran dewan direksi, ukuran komite audit, proporsi dewan komisaris independen, serta kepemilikan manajerial). Seluruh perusahaan yang masuk dalam Jakarta Islamic Index dari tahun 2017-2021 masuk dalam cakupan populasi studi ini. Pemilihan sampel menerapkan purposive sampling yang terdiri atas 18 perusahaan untuk dianalisis. Pengujian data pada studi ini menerapkan analisis regresi data panel. Studi mengungkapkan bahwasanya frekuensi rapat dewan, ukuran dewan direksi, dan proporsi dewan komisaris independen berdampak positif pada Tobin’s Q. Sebaliknya, ukuran komite audit serta kepemilikan manajerial tidak berdampak pada Tobin’s Q. Variabel kontrol firm size berdampak negatif pada Tobin’s Q, sedangkan leverage tidak berdampak pada Tobin’s Q. Implikasi studi ini yaitu perusahaan Jakarta Islamic Index diharapkan meningkatkan kualitas Good Corporate Governance serta tetap mematuhi regulasi yang berlaku dengan tujuan meningkatkan kepercayaan masyarakat maupun investor dan nilai perusahaan. |

Inggris) | This study's objective is to ascertain the effects of GCG (the size of the board of directors, frequency of board meetings, proportion of independent commissioners, audit committee size, and managerial ownership) on firm value (Tobin's Q), utilizing firm size and leverage as control variables. All companies that were listed in the Jakarta Islamic Index between 2017 and 2021 make up the research's population. 18 businesses were used in a purposive sampling for analysis. Data from the study were surveyed using panel data regression analysis. Based on the research, Tobin's Q is positively impacted by the frequency of board meetings, the size of the board of directors, and the percentage of independent commissioners. The audit committee's size and managerial ownership, in contrast, have no impact on Tobin's Q. Firm size, a control variable, has a detrimental impact on Tobin's Q. Leverage, however, has no effect on Tobin's Q. The study's conclusion is that Jakarta Islamic Index firms should enhance the standard of good corporate governance and abide by applicable laws in order to boost investor and public confidence and firm value. |
