| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian berjudul “Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) dan keuntungan ayam broiler strain yang berbeda di PT Berkat Unggas Sehat Sejahtera”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strain yang berbeda terhadap Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) dan keuntungan ayam broiler. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu observasi data primer dan data sekunder, dengan sasaran pemilik peternakan PT. Berkat Unggas Sehat Sejahtera. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji t dan deskriptif. Strain ayam broiler yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Cobb dan Ross pada sistem kandang close house. Populasi pada masing-masing strain yaitu 12.000 ekor dan dipelihara 1 periode selama 28 hari, dari bulan November sampai Desember. Hasil penelitian yaitu rata-rata FCR pada ayam broiler strain Ross 0,93 sedangkan pada strain Cobb 1,04. Pendapatan yang dihasilkan dari strain Ross sebanyak Rp 12.136.043 sedangkan strain Cobb mengalami kerugian sebesar Rp. 17.140.895, hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa strain Ross menghasilkan keuntungan yang cukup baik. Hasil analisis uji t menunjukkaan bahwa strain berbeda nyata terhadap FCR ayam broiler. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah pemilihan strain yang tepat dapat meningkatkan efisiensi pakan dan keuntungan hasil produksi pada ayam broiler. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The study entitled "Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) and the advantages of different strains of broiler chickens at PT Berkat Unggas Sehat Sejahtera". This study aims to examine the different strains on the Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) and the advantages of broiler chickens. The research method used is the observation of primary data and secondary data, with the target of PT. Thanks to Healthy and Prosperous Poultry. Data were analyzed using t and descriptive tests. The broiler strains used in this study were Cobb and Ross in a close house cage system. The population for each strain was 12,000 and reared for 1 period for 28 days, from November to December. The results of the study showed that the average FCR for broiler chickens in the Ross strain was 0.93 while in the Cobb strain it was 1.04. Revenue generated from the Ross strain was IDR 12,136,043 while the Cobb strain suffered a loss of IDR. 17,140,895, this shows that the Ross strain produces a fairly good profit. The results of the t test analysis showed that the strains were significantly different from the FCR of broiler chickens. The conclusion of this study is the selection of the right strain can increase feed efficiency and production gains in broiler chickens. |
